  1. Tell him you will only accept western union transfer, then you get the cash and cant be scamed. if he wont accept that then tough
  2. Yup, get one of them on it and give it hell with an air gun! Failing that, go buy a Gator universal socket, I've removed loads of locking wheel nuts with one :x:
  3. Dont know how you stand here as it is not "you" paying for the job? I would not collect the car and bring in trading standards and lawyers to get the car in the condition expected. If you take the car away you have effectivly accepted the workmanship, so leave it where it is! Even get in writing you wont take the car away because you are not happy with the work and make them sign it.
  4. Get it in writing on the invoice dude ;)
  5. Me and my brother have been playing this at work the last few weeks, completed them all now but still playing to create the most elaborate machine wer can!
  6. Nothing to do with cut backs on maintenance, ALL planes get the same checks/scheduals according to the make/model. A british airways 747 will get the same checks as an easyjet/ryan air at 60,000 air miles or 120 hours flight time or what ever the book says. Its just one of those things, things break now and then, planes are gonna drop out the sky now and then, dont like the risk, dont fly.
  7. Wicked job you have done there fella! hats off looks like quality work you have put in!
  8. Christ fella thats terrible news, dont know what to say :( You've got my number if you need anything.
  9. How does the Griff mark up against a Zed dude?
  10. Try lighting them up for a few seconds and burn off any shite that maybe on the outside of them.
  11. You got shiney stones for tyres or something??? Thats not right dude!
  12. Or as it should read Wouldn't worry about it to be honest, they never co-operated with anything in the first place :D
  13. wouldn't have thought so, cos rally cars have to be road leagal and they have them.
  14. Got to be better than living here fella!!! Green is not the word!
  15. Looks great fella! Will bring a few beers to the BBQ ;)
  16. I never said you did anything wrong or that the buyer had been misstreated at all, only what I would have done in the situation. A new engine to fit myself wouldn't have been accepted by me personly. But as long as he is happy all's well that ends well, you have a good reputaion and I've not said anything to the contrary :duffer:
  17. Bloody immigrants
  18. Doesn't matter if its bought from ebay or a shop on the moon, if its from a trader you have the same cover regardles.
  19. Not taking sides or anything here, but remember Paul sell cars as a business and is same as if you buy anything from a retailer, there is comeback if things are not right after sale. If it were a private sale they I would agree 100% with you, but if I bought a car from a garage and in under 200 miles died it would be back for a refund/fix without a shaddow of a doubt. And if it didn't happen willingly I'd have get the law people involved and I know for a fact then it would. :smash:
  20. Thats great, its like the think people "Plan" to be adrift at sea.
  21. I did over hear someone down the pub saying they had bought a new car and how bad it was, they said "I've only gone and bought a Bird!"
  22. Bet they didn't leave the keys in it for you though ;)
  23. Good new fella!!! Really pleased for you!
  24. Wicked cars fella! Bet that was a great day out!
