All depends on what volume of air your indervidual sub requires, also dependant on if you need a vented box or if your sub is happy in a sealed box. The minimum box capacity will change from sub to sub and on the shape/location of the box. Also what sound your after will denote what kind of sub you buy and hense what volume box you need.

Yeah you could do two 10's no probs, just depends how good you are with box making, how much your willing to spend and what sound you want. You will be very lucky to get a pair of 12's in and still have enough room for your roof pannels. You could do it but it would sound cack because of the box restrictions you would have to have.
