Ive just bought and fitted new speed sensor, spark plugs, brake discs and pads, oil, sylicone hoses, fuel filter, coilpack connectors, injector connectors, fixed every damn thing wrong with the car, fitted a dvd player and put what was a bit of a dog of a Zed back to how it should be. The car when I bought it was only worth £1650 It was only running on 5 cylinders for f*ck's sake. Ive put time and money into it and I know that its now a good solid car. Im not gonna make a profit on £2500 thats just to get my money back and its what the car is now worth after ive spent MY TIME AND MONEY ON IT! F*ck off to Barryboys :mad: :xxx:

OK problem solved. Sort of. I was taking the reading from the middle pin on the FRONT of the TPS not the connector a few inches back down. fecking idiot I am. lol Now the least I can get from it is 0.50v when fully anticlockwise, so still same issue that it wont go low enough. damn it! Can the throttle bar thingy that turns (and make the voltage on the tps rise) be adjusted?

Yup thats what ive been doing. and getting the readings as per my first post. :confused:

Was setting it up using this way http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=42646&highlight=tps+setup I know the multimeter is good. When the Plug is taken off the TPS, the middle pin on the loose connector reads 11v. Should it?

Yeah its a fan for the Aircon, so it knows what the temp is inside the car. Open it up and clean the fluff in there. should sort it.

OK, was having gear change issues so thought I should check the TPS settings. Was sitting on 11.21v :eek: When turned fully anti clockwise would go to 13.4v and fully clockwise will go to 7v at the lowest. New TPS needed???
