Mate not at all, you have your opinion as does everyone on here and thats where my argument is. We all have our own opinions on what we want to read on here and what we dont. My argument is not that mods keep locking threads left right and center because they dont. My argument is that WHAT IS DRIVEL AND HOW DO YOU MODERATE IT. At the mo there are threads that are fun and have nothing wrong with them that have been locked because they are deemed drivel by one or two people.

yup, and if you look at my posts you will see i always support the mods in their actions. They do a good job IMHO. But it does really look at the mo that threads are being locked for no good reason at all due to the new "Drivel" clause.

Yeah im just trying to make a point. Your enjoying this thread and therefore to you it is not drivel. To someeone else it might be. So where is the bouderies?

Mods i have no probs with. IMHO you all do a good job when a thread gets out of hand ect. But if a post is getting loads of replys and people are clearly enjoying it, just cos a few are not why is it closed? I still dont get how one thread is drivel and another is not just cos "I say it is"

Just out of interest, at what point does a post become drivel and pointless? Surely that is a decition only INDERVIDUAL members can decide after reading a post. One mans drivel is anothers joy. Maybe there should be a poll on every post and if the drivel result gets more than 10 votes its closed? I read some posts and just have no interest at all with them, others I think are great. Just cos I don’t want to read someone’s post on "my new house I've bought" does not make it drivel! Its got feck all to do with the forum/300's and I have no interest in it, the same way as someone else might not have any interest in a post "What’s the biggest spot you’ve ever had and where?" yet this will be called drivel and locked because its amusing. I’ve used example posts that I think don’t exist so if anyone HAS posted my new house recently it was in no way aimed at your post. Same goes for the spot one!

Yup, but news is only as good as the people who want to read about it. Many more people want to read about football than tennis. Thats just the way it is.

Like I said, if you dont understand it, leave it alone and ignor it. Clearly if he was a no one in the sport/sceam of things he wouldnt be getting this coverage.

For the same reason as musitions, race car drivers, painters, or anyone else with a tallent that someone else can apreciate can become a legend. Best was not a legend to me, but was for others. Why argue it or try to understand why? Just accept he was for some same as you most likely have people you admire that others might not.

I voted YES. I dont think he deserved to die as such, its a shame that anyone goes down that path money, fame and fortune or not. But he had many more oppertunities to sort himself out than most in his situation. Still a shame he didnt have the strength to fight it.

This has go to be the hardest decition with the Zed when it comes to styling. A beautiful Zed on cack wheels will make it look shat, and on the flipside a shat Zed on really nice wheels makes it look 1000 times better. Then you've got everyone has a different opinion on what looks good and what doesnt. I was lucky and threw the cheapest wheels on that fitted and was over the moon with how they looked.
