OK. Gonna have a go at taking the engine out and rebuilding it/refitting it. I know about the internal damage but what else should i be doing fixing/replacing while the engine is out? Thanks in advance guys. :bow:

My mate who runs a welding and fabrications workshop has offered to remove the engine, rebuild it and fit it for free! :bow: We will do this together and although we have never worked on a Zed to this extent I have sod all to loose by giving it a go. I mean it's not like im worried about braking the engine! :D I expect you will be getting screams for help over the next few weeks as things take shape (Or not) Today things are clearer and better for me. :duffer: :duffer:

Thanks mate, she made them file an accident report at the time with all info on. Its just the total non caring at all even to your hurt by us and you WILL pay for a drink.

My mum was in Tecos doing shopping and one of the wheels came off her trolly faling over and taking my mum with it. Now 3 years ago she had her spine rebuilt with bone graphts and metal cages etc, she cant work and her back is very very fragile. Now she has lost all feeling in both her legs after the fall. She wants to wait a week or so to see if it gets better and if it does she wont follow any action against tesco. What really pissed me off is that she was there for over an hour before I could get there to get her home, during that time they brought her a few coffies, then when i arrive they ask for the money for them! FFS Tesco's the bigest retail shop in the UK cant spare a few coffies for a customer who is badly hurt due to their equipment. :mad: This weekend is getting better and better. Wheres those beers

My new Zed is dead. Cambelt did not snap one of the 4 cogs seized with the other 3 still turning ripped the belt teeth apart :( Dont know about the internal damage not bothered to go that far. Went out tonight and found the girfriend chatting to some guy, gave her a kiss and the guy ****s off. She gets the rite arse thats he has gone and that im there. Then she goes mad at me saying im so out of order for kissing her infront of him? Hang on im ment to be your bloke why shouldnt i? Been suspecting her of cheating for a bit and tonight confirmed it. Sometimes the error code is not stored, so ingition off it clears the error, take the reading and 55 all clear.

Driving home from work tonight found I was in safety boost, then notised a LOUD tapping from the engine. Stopped and opened the bonnet and it sounds like a bloody diesel! :( Done ECU check and nothing. Code 55 :confused: Car idles and runs smooth and with all cylinders, just it keeps going into safety boost and that tapping is always there. Ideas?

A car can "LOOK" the cleanest example in the world. Doesn't mean it is. Pictures and descriptions mean nothing, go look and poke about yourself, offer a few beers to someone on here and I'm sure you'll get a few offers of help to take a look with you.
