1. welcome to the club mate - if youve not already discovered, it's best to keep away from dealers! the poor guys don't have a clue about the 300 any more, as I've learned through my own experience too. you can't go wrong with ZedWorld nr. Tamworth ;)
2. there were rumours a while ago of a certain member/ex-member thinking about an SR20 swap but I don't think that happened. in terms of your running problem it could be down to many things, commonly a boost leak, safety boost, etc. my advice would be to get it to a specialist - ZedWorld nr Tamworth are roughly a couple of hours away from you.
3. when my engine was rebuilt about 2-3 years ago the chap carrying out the work said mine had melted too. not sure what would have caused it but a slight heat crack was found inside one of the cylinders and so i needed another block.
4. it's the 1.5l V3 12V single turbo Z (the 150ZX)
5. it shouldn't be a problem to spike up to 15 on stock as long as after that it's pulling at about 14.5 or so - mine were the same when i was running jets and stock injectors. i dont like the sound of it going into safety boost afterward though - might it be running lean and the ECU going into safety...? mine didn't have a problem, but then again my det sensor had melted... :o
6.   what a monster!!!
7. happy birthday bud :duffer:

12. Pas de turbine. :o actually we didn't learn how to say non-turbo in French at school.
13. looking good!!
14. i had same symptoms ages ago and it was the hicas arms. car was quite dangerous to drive at any speed over bumps or round corners!
15. i'd say with your mods, points and only 3 years NCB that's quite a fair deal. i'm paying similar for mine, 9 years NCB and zero points - but it's shoparound time soon - I book the whole day off work so I can ring around fookn insurers!
16. Happy birthday :duffer:
17. ...not if done properly :slap: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_8bo_Kfhxs :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: in fact why stop with just the DV sound when you can sample the whole car: ...or why stop with a car when you can have a PC cooling fan act as a turbo for your bike: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ASkBJ_YCQw&feature=related FFS!!!!!
18. I do have atmospheric DVs installed in my car and although I like the noise I don't get too over-excited about it thinking they give me 800bhp. Si is right in that they can be detrimental to performance, but I would venture to say only slightly and any modification that gives you a few extra ponies under the bonnet should be enough to make up for it. I think most air/fuel ratio controllers like the Apexi SAFC2 have settings that allow you to program it not to fuel as much when you take your foot off the gas in an attempt to reduce that bit of over-fuelling. ...or you could have the best of both worlds with an electric DV and your recircs in place :punk::punk::punk: :slap::slap::slap:
19. In order from Slightly Miffed to Mad as a Lorry (any other Brass Eye fans out there? :D ) People who aren't ready to pull away when the light changes green, but instead suddenly 'realise' after about 3 seconds and throw the gear in and take the handbrake off in a panic. People who turn off a road but take about 20 seconds to do it, almost forcing you into the other lane. People who don't realise that if there's parked cars in their lane, they have to give way to oncoming traffic and instead just pull into my lane and expect me to wait for them (happens to me almost every day) Middle-lane hoggers. People who drive well under the speed limit, or stick to 40 when the limit changes between 60 and 30 and back to 60. People who pull out in front of you on a fast road, but don't bother getting up to speed as soon as they can, but gently tickle the throttle forcing you to brake harshly to prevent you from going into the back of them. Chavs who walk up to a crossing, but instead of slow down when they near the road, the walk right up to the edge at a constant speed and suddenly stop. Whether they do this to panic you into thinking theyre about to walk out, or if they are genuinely so stupid that they can only recognise terrain that's 30cm in front of them I don't know. Chav mothers who do the above ^ but with their prams - standing waiting for the traffic to stop with their poor old baby in the pram with its face stuck in the passing traffic.
20. yes so it can benefit from that lovely hot air
21. ^ actually that makes sense both - stupid ebay!
22. "The engine mods were all done by a company called "WeMod4U"..." ..."WeMod4U" - not quite Blitz or Jun is it
23. lol - weren't they women who had opinions or something?  'Women, know your limits'.
24. looks quite mean
