  1. i went to them about 18 months ago to install an aftermarket boost gauge, an RSM, an S-AFC2 and a RR tune. They seemed friendly enough to me, they just cracked on with the job while i basked in the sun outside with my missus. mind you im not much of the talkative type but id use them again no problem.
  2. knowing your luck you'll probably find a nice phat pair of GReddy tubbies as well
  3. there arent any cheats as such, unless youve got Action Replay MAX in which case there are loads ;) but if you want cash quick, try the second driving mission (the one around the nice bayside town - cant remember whats it called) - its quite easy to do with a lightly modified car, say a 300ZX ;) and you win a car worth over 200,000  do it as many times as you like
  4.
  5. no coconut for you! you dont need to get gold in the licences to get 100% - you need to get gold in everything else ;)
  6. im 100% complete in GT mode, and ive unlocked 703 of the 710 cars in arcade mode ;) ive no idea how to unlock the final 7 tho :(
  7. only just realised that ive spent all day today playing driving games on my ps2!!! :xxx: got back from staying over at my mate's about 9am, fired WRC Evolution up and did a couple of countries (with fancy new steering wheel), had a bowl of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, got fed up of WRC so put freshly-purchased TOCA 3 in and did a few events - Baja Racing, X-power MG rally, F1 racing. got fed up of that. cheated in GT4 to get gold licences and unlock more cars. went to pick my g/f up and bought her back for a while before she has to catch train to Manchester. showed off my steering wheel while playing GT4. then taught her how to play WRC Extreme with the wheel. then dropped her off at station. back home for more TOCA 3 (GB cup), and now ive been playing [cheating] more on GT4. where's the day gone?!?!
  8.   i bet that bloke was $hitting himself when it was spinning aound in the air!! well funny
  9. thanks for the replies so far. another suggestion - would the (temporary) location of my number plate be partially responsible for the low idle (ie. across the front grill as in my sig) as well as the missing zorst gasket?

sorry to hear this mate. its a common misconception that decatting is the sole cause of rear seals failing - if the seals were worn anyway then decatting 'helps' them go completely. if you have them reconditioned properly then you shouldnt have that problem again.
  11. heh, no it wasnt :smash:
  12. is that the Nismo style?
  13. around town??? youve got a virtual rally course around Oakham ;) unless you cruise first then thrash it later ;)
  14. might have been Z Evo Guy 50, i passed by him in Oakham.
  15. nice to finally see another Z in Oakham mate! knew it was you straight away. i dont see the red one any more. i think you might have been spotted on the M1 as well. was that you?
  16. as scoops suggests theres a possibility of it being the hicas arms - i damaged mine a while back and the rear end was all over the place, even during normal driving when going over bumps etc. once that was fixed then she started to behave herself again.
  17. great news mate. just be careful with what youre taking off ;) :)
  18. lol what a nob! you should have shouted "still beat you tho you cock-juggler"
  19. i thought about black meshing to match my smoked repeaters but decided to keep it silver.
  20. aw look at the bidders - Teri, Katy and Valentine. bet theyre trying to impress their Z-owning boyfriends by buying them a bodykit.
  21. seriously tho ive got a similar problem on my drivers side. i removed the targa, poured some water from a milk bottle into the 'gutter' around the surround and watched where it went. the 'plug hole' works fine but if theres a lot of water then it gets past that, then under the rubber seal, down the corner, underneath my A-pillar and pisses out from under my top A-pillar gauge   still havent got round to sorting it out. tried some vaseline as a temporary solution but when i put the targa back in, the vaseline was just pressed aside and the problem returned.
  22. ive always been a great fan of rally games on the PS2. WRC4 was the best one i had so far (after playing all the Colin McRays, WRC Extremes and V-Rallies). i heard about the 5th WRC, called Evolved, but also heard (and saw screenshots) of having multiple cars on track at the same time racing eachother. although this is obviously good for the likes of GT, im a firm believer that in rally games its purely you versus the track. however after getting WRC Evolved for peanuts im glad to say that car racing is only online multiplayer or Rally-cross mode - you can still play single-player against the clock  the co-driver calls are much better, less robotic, and in a reversal of the WRC series, he calls the gear instead of the tightness of the corner (so a 6 is a fast corner and a 1 is a tight corner). the graphics are better than WRC4  with photographic backgrounds like GT4. the random events are way too cool as well - sometimes you pass crashed rally cars, or a log-carrying trailer will back out on you, or a boulder would fall from a mountainside, or sometimes the guy in front of you has had a gearbox/engine problem and is limping to the line and you have to try and overtake him while fighting for control of the car    you can play the same stage several times and each time it may be slightly different. what a cool game! you also get points where you can unlock new cars/evolutions of cars/etc. the only two downsides are that: there are only 3 stages per country (instead of 6 like in WRC4) and each stage is only between 2-4 minutes long (in WRC4 they were 6 minutes or more). all in all tho this is a cracking game which you can get cheap if you shop around
  23. Logitech Driving Force off flea bay for £15 and all i can say is WOW! ive been playing GT4 and its a completely different game   the wheel doesnt just vibrate like the gamepad does, it actually moves depending on whats happening - if an AI car bumps into the side of your car, the wheel bumps in the other direction. if youre going sideways, the wheel tries to turn in the other direction to follow the wheels, while youre trying the keep is straight. its also so much easier to play (once youre used to it) cos instead of just pressing LEFT or RIGHT (or using the thumb joysticks) you can steer to whatever precision you want. the brake and accellerator pedals are cool as well. the whole game is so much more enjoyable and far more realistic - especially when in bonnet-view mode! im well happy with this item - and theyre going for peanuts on t'internet!!! and as for WRC4 or WRC: Rally Evolved   talk about immersion! all i can say is if you like driving games but dont have a wheel - GET ONE!!!
  24. great news mate! lets hope this one sorts it for good.
