  1. same here. WTF?
  2. pinky/white???? my advice would be ask to see the colour cards, pick out your favourite five, ask for sample cards with the paint actually on them, then take them away and see how many times you can change your mind. then go for something dead unique
  3. lol, worse than the cosworth bonnet vents i put on my cav gsi erm did i just say that? :x:
  4. just keep to below 2500 revs in the last 5 mins of your journey thats what i do (i use the tubby timer for battery and afm reading!)
  5. now tell me that first picture isn't of a frog trying to cross a busy road.
  6. only started happening recently - idles ok when cold (say 1600ish) but after 10 minutes of drive the engine will idle at something stupidly low like 550/600rpm. not lumpy just very low. car runs fine normally on all cyls and boosts fine. the thing i only noticed this evening while waiting at a queue for petrol was that when it started idling so low my boost gauge would start to move from the left to about half-left  confirmed by all 3 gauges (stock, aftermarket and controller). give the throttle a tap and engine would idle at 800ish for a sec (boost gauge would go to centre as usual under a bit of gas, then drop to left as normal, but then creep to half-left again when idle back to 550/600!) checked boost hoses and they were fine but was too dark to check anything else. only other bits of info i can give are: * i changed my battery recently with a new one * i noticed underneath the car there was a wire hanging down from the dead centre of car, slightly to passenger side (say, next to where the cats were). the end isnt taped off or blanked (ive been decatted and had auto->manual conv) - looks like literally ripped out - fuzzy end. * i have a slight gap in my exhaust where a gasket is missing - makes a farting sound under decelleration but had that for a couple of months now and it hasnt affected anything else any ideas anyone?
  7. what a story! cant belive there are so many bids for it, considering the state it's in!

  11. can you not right-click on each picture and save it as a bitmap? as an absolute last resort you can press PRINT SCREEN to take a screen grab and then PASTE it into Microsoft Paint or something.
  12. Crikes! imagine what would have happened if he'd taken a TT out!! glad he was ok tho - learned his lesson not to mess about with that much power ;)
  13. im more of an Atari 800/ST chap myself
  14. true, but suing won't turn back time or fix the cut in bird's head. as long as the staff have apologised and learned their lesson [ie. fixing the light more securely] (and offered some appeasement in the form of chips ;) ) thats as far as i would take it.
  15. Action Replay had loads of cheats for GT3, including this one. not sure whether there are any 'natural' cheats for the game tho...

  17. well, close enough m'darlin :D question is what boost is Snoopy supposed to be running? nothing in rides section
  18. err thats the correct stock boost level - 9psi is about 0.7 bar (assuming the reading is in bar) :hyper: unless youve got jets or a controller in which case something may be wrong but it shouldnt be too big a problem (your tubbies are working)
  19. im right with you there Mines  these no-win no-fee lawyer tossers are partly what's bringing this country down. would you sue your mate if you tripped on his doorstep or got bitten by his dog??? Keeping your chin up and just taking it is what makes (what's left of us) British. Suing means "someone help me im a ponce and i cant do anything for myself :mac1: "
  20. the jelly's horrible man, always ends up on the side of my plate. spoils the rest of the pork pie.
