  7. superb find there matey! Saturday.... Saturday!!!! Saturday.... is Tis Was day.... Chris Tarrant was obsessed with throwing buckets of water at people
  8. every time i see it i pmsl - the amount of stickers and fridge magnets he's put on it! and what the chuff is a Wellington 300ZX anyway?
  9. hmm i have to agree with Mick. ok, as long as decent people get a couple of weeks' leeway and a slapped wrist for missing renewal, cars that a well out of tax should be dealt with - and their owners!
  10. right ive been out yet again, armed with a 2l bottle of test water, two screwdrivers, some towels and some rubber sealant. unfortunately Smithy's suggestion, good that it was, didnt work in my case. i blitzed the hole in the top with water and it all gurgled down ok. the problem was that any excess (or indeed, any water that follows the glass of the targa directly to the A-pillar corner, would find a way of getting on the other side of the rubber, and then somehow through into the car. i noticed a couple of areas where the water was managing to get between the rubber and the metal, and so i dried them off, eased them out with a flatheaded screwdriver and filled them full of sealant. you can notice it when the targas are off but bugger that im getting my priorities in order first! :p i'll have to wait and see if its made any difference, but im still worried by a gap, where the windscreen strip is supposed to meet the strip of the targa. on the passenger side there's hardly any division - there seems to be an extra bit of plastic sat inside the strip. sounds like an obvious problem and an obvious solution, but try as i might, any water that i pour near the gap is collected by the rubber of sealant :headvswal
  11. ok thanks for the info so far everyone - i was up at 4am cos the alarm was going off - the rain was somehow setting the microsensors off! i had to get into the car during the cold and rain, turn the driver's sensor away and cover the leaky bit with cloth. im going to have a crack at her today before i pee the neighbours off even more! :nelson:
  12. ive asked him what mods the engine has to get it up to 480bhp! didnt mention my suspicions it might not be a Ferrari tho :x:
  13. Yampiedog has got great big fat cheeks (on his face, lol)
  14. yeah while we're not being charged for amount of rubbish its ok to use other's bins as long as theyre out and waiting to be collected. using them through the week is being a little cheeky of course...
  15. for years Ive dreaded Christmas because of the stress at work (read 'stress' as feeling like being trapped in a giant vice!) but since I turned around and told them to get knotted I shall be enjoying my first work-free Christmas so I can relax and enjoy it, instead of getting two ****ing days off! Christmas is too commercial and all about spending money rather than spending time enjoying friends/family/booze/etc.
  16.  that'll get moderated mate! (wink wink)
  17. neither do the alloys or the badging at the back - V6 on the left and somethingSport on the right. his feedback's a bit dodge as well - 2 of the 3 items are the exact same car! and do you find one of the names familiar? :p
  18. I think Craig David's right - more and more stuff is internet based now. Why buy a mag for £3.99 when you can watch a vid of a Skyline drifting around a corner for free?
  19. im normally a little slower than that, but then again they are usually trying to fight me off
  20. did you manage to stay in a straight line this time Allan :x: ;)
  21. yes its an aftermarket 3-gauge jobbie, with a screw at the top that goes into a clip that's inserted into the square hole in the shell itself.
  22. N/A front bumper. no TT lip spoiler at the rear - it's N/A smooth. cant make out whether the boost gauge is there tho.
  23. :headvswal :headvswal ONLY IN AMERICA. and fast forward to about 7:50-8:00 and some important-looking guy wants Sony to pay for the extra cops to guard the stores where the riots are breaking out! WTF?!?! :wack:
