  1. Really sorry to hear this Darren. We lost a greyhound to cancer last year, he went way before his time. At least Minnie's suffering has come to an end now. RIP.
  2.  look at the dent he put in the wall!
  3. good excuse to get some new stuff tho! i use Simply Safe Backup - i like basic ones where all you need to do is click yer files and folders and press a button. i keep all my stuff in a folder called "C:\My\" and back that up every week. dont forget about anything in C:\Documents and Settings, as some programs and games will keep your saved information here. this is one location i totally forgot about and lost some important stuff (like a Neverwinter Nights map id spent weeks making  ) I tend to backup my music seperately as there's about 6 gig's worth and i dont update it that often. i also backup my Start menu, as it reminds you of what programs you had and how you organised everything. HTH.
  4. bloody disgrace! sorry to hear this Alex. shame you didnt get his reg number. how bad is the damage? what car were they driving?
  5. With Deepest Sympathy...
  6. correct, but a Blitz setup tends to be quite aggressive so it may be overfuelling. best to get it rolling-roaded by professionals. i know its probably a fair trek but Thor in Warwickshire knew their beans.
  7. not really - auto tubs are smaller to try and reduce lag. i have auto tubs on my manual (converted from auto) and there's no noticable difference. there are so many other variables to driving that its not really worth bothering about the difference.
  8. i prefer jussipussy, yum!
  9. TBH i think TG wouldnt be the same if you removed one of the three reporters - theyre all a team. i voted for Clarkson tho just cos of his anti-PC attitude and he's interesting to watch.

thats what i was thinking, im imagining that people were going in saying that 'those cars are taking up all the space' when in fact we were eating there and the mk 3s weren't. dont forget about the smart street car meet - they took up almost 4 spaces

  12. not sure of the exact ins and outs of the Blitz Access, but consider yourself a very lucky bugger! :p
  13.   im a snake too.
  14. hmm i had a similar problem a month ago. she's never had a problem with starting first time (as in, ever!) but once i tried to start her she just turned over and turned over and wouldnt fire up. after trying for a minute she fired up, but on 4 cylinders, then after a bit of throttle, up to 5, and then 6. and ive never (touch wood) had the problem since. the only thing i can think of is PTU (s1) is she turning over strongly or sluggishly? (im guessing the first one). does it have a series 1 or series 2 ptu? (what year was your Z manufactured) as S1's often fail (usual symptoms are cutting out while driving, but then being ok for a while after cooling down). i wouldnt think the wet would have anything to do with it - if rain gets in the filter, it tends to run like its on 5 for a while until it dries out.
  15. foooooookn ell! i think they got away lightly there! plus that red car could have ended up a lot worse!
  16. i got a tube of rubber sealant from halfrauds and emptied half the tube into the gap under the rubber right above the top corner of the A-pillar. worked a treat, although i darent take my targa off now for fear of it going back to being an incontinent old man again :headvswal

  18. no he was the old one (or one of them)
  19. crap headlights, [ex]-leaky targas, rattles, the ongoing paranoia of whats going to go wrong next. oh, and insurance
  20. hmm it ended up being a very anti-conspiracy program where i was hoping it would keep neutral all the way down the line. i like the idea of the so-called 'squibs' that conspiracists believe were minor detonations actually being air squashed out as the floors came down. i dont think we'll ever know what happened. PS. ooh, the program was on BBC, dictated by UK government, lapdog of US government
  21.
  22. i think he installs boost jets along with the chip to up the boost to circa 13psi. this is what would make the difference in power.
  23. lol, sad and cool at the same time. to be REALLY cool, it'll be one foot square and hold 240 cans of beer
