The reason why insurance companies are not recognising the plates is because ALL N/A's are imports, ie fairlady's like you said. The only UK models are the twin turbos, hope this helps, and welcome btw ;)

Smell everyone mate, i know on startup mine has a slight fuel smell, but its the engine side of things, go around the car when you start it and smell everyone, easiest way to do it

I know what you mean mate, hopefully you will get another Zed and do that, we do try and put on meets all the time, but since the weather isnt great, or if its raining in FunkySi's case, most people wont bother! If its sunny out and a really good day, we get about 15 cars attend! If it rains about 2 LOL!
