Taken from there website, all welcome :) keeping the tradition going we'll be holding another big January meet for '09. It will be on the evening of Friday 23rd January at The Boathouse, from 8pm. We'll be meeting at Gordano Services ready to leave for 7.30pm. I'll be posting the route closer to the date. On the drive to the pub, could I ask that nobody overtakes the lead car so that we can all regroup on the motorway and travel in a convoy to the pub. We would like as many people as possible to take video cameras so that ImVarma can put together a video of the meet, so if you have a camera and would like your footage used in the Official video, make sure you see Andrew on the night to transfer the footage across. When we get there we will be using the Park and Ride carpark closest to the pubs carpark, it is lit and secure and is capable of holding well over 200 cars.
  4. As far as i know, there also could be a number of other problems, ill wait until the experts get here :)

  7. Its just annoying because in terms of why it broke down was my fault because i didnt check the connections for corrosion, if i would of checked it first im sure the car would have been fine...
  8. Mine are replacement seats and they are series 3
  9. Wrapping a towel around the console forces the console to OVERHEAT and MELT the chipsets, in doing that it makes the connection between the graphics card and the motherboard inside work agian! Its very bad for the console and it will break agian!!
  10. Now this is a story to tell, oldzed came around and we took the cas connector and to find that it was a bit grubby so oldzed cleaned it all up and i went to start the car and it fired up after a while, so that thinking it was the problem solved old zed followed me down the road to find the car completely dieing agian. So we looked at the connections and i plugged my s1 PTU back in and it fired up.. So now we are looking completely confused as to the fact that the a series 1 worked fine and a series 2 was messing up.. So oldzed took off all the connections and found out that there was some corrosion inside the harness connections... So oldzed took them all off and cleaned them up and he then followed me home. The car is running perfect only problem now is idle, which im sure it is ecu related so im going to get a new ecu! Thank you so much oldzed!!! Owe you a few :duffer:
