*** Sky TV on iPhone/iPad NO LONGER FREE
Just a heads up - this was free, but now a certain greedy Aussie wants another £5 per month off you (besides your Sky subscription) to continue to view Sky on your iPhone/iPad etc. What a clever strategy, make something free then sneakily charge tens of thousands of subscribers - nice one :gun_bandana: Rupert.

******* fuels gone up, how much is it costing to fill up now?
The VAT rise is permanent. Many years ago it was 'temporarily' raised from 10% to 12%, I've a feeling hell will freeze over before it goes back down to 10%! This site shocks me though:- http://www.usdebtclock.org/world-debt-clock.html I'm sure Portugal are on the brink of needing a bailout, but they look better off the the UK!

I totally agree with you, but unfortunately most of our public transport is owned privately (usually by the French) and, now that they have bigger monopolies, can charge what they like. Many people would be worse-off using public transport and many people simply refuse to take a bus or train through fear of getting their heads kicked in by some chav - yet another big problem here!

something you DON'T want to see happen on the road!

I couldn't have put it better myself.

****** Why has LPG gone up too?
I was considering buying an LPG car back in 2000, but held off thinking the Government would tax it once everyone had jumped on the bandwagon. After it only having gone up from 36p per litre to 42p between 2000 and 2008, I decided to buy my current LPG car. I filled up yesterday and the cheeky tw@ts had put another 10p per litre on the price. I can't believe it after so many rises before that. The graph below shows the sudden rise. So much for being green eh? What a lying bunch of w@nkers we have controlling us. I'd rather buy a Prius and hack it to run in EV-mode rather than feed those slimy b**stards.

looking for new lcd tv
Just bought one of these to go with GT5 on the PS3. It's not cheap, but my TV is 10 years old. I bought it because I remembered playing a 3D arcade driving game about 20 years ago and that was awesome then, so this should be amazing. I think they won't be around for long at this price, so might be worth a look? http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/samsung-ps50c680-50-full-hd-plasma-3d-tv-with-free-3d-blu-ray-player-shrek-3d-the-complete-collection-and-2-pairs-of-3d-glasses-08764392-pdt.html

Work colleagues
True, plus it's a long time ago! I grew up with all those songs and I'm just surprised that the references to "Kathy" in all of them relate to the Kath that I have worked with for years!

Work colleagues
I just found out that I work with the woman from this album cover! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Paul_Simon_Songbook She apparently never tells anyone!

What is it with paypal????
I think there is only one question here and that is "How many more millions do they stand to make if they hold on to randomly selected sellers' funds for an additional 21 days, and then justify it by saying that it's to protect the buyer?" At least they've dropped the charges to withdraw funds of than £50, in line with America, into your bank account. That has pissed me off for years!

cheap M3
A man after my own heart! I like those too. There have been serious metal fatigue problems with the e46. I'd avoid unless you can weld or fit a reinforcement kit. http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=TDR4675412 My brother got his welded up, but it was a long job. http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=621891

99 Spec Tail Lights Upgrade
I can find the crystal lights, but no centre panel to match. Could someone please post a link to one? Cheers.

99 Spec Tail Lights Upgrade
Thanks for the pics. Whereabouts did you get them from over there? Also is there a crystal style centre panel available or is it the normal 99 spec one?

Shipping tyres - what's the best way?
Apparently they were off an Aston Martin DB6. I've got an old Stingray, which I'm hoping to get MOT'd and registered sometime this decade!
-
Shipping tyres - what's the best way?
Thanks everyone for your advice. The tyres were 225 70 15 Michelin XWX's which are hard to find cheap. Unfortunately I didn't win the auction even though I bid twice the highest bid with 4 seconds to go! Bleeding fleabay.
-
Has anyone seen these on a Zed yet?
Cheers guys. I must admit the 99 spec still looks best suited to the car.

Shipping tyres - what's the best way?
Hi, I'm interested in some rare tyres on ebay, but the ad says local pickup only. I'm just wondering if I could get a courier to his address and have them collected then shipped here? Just not sure if they need to be wrapped or labelled etc. prior to collection. Cheers, Dave
