  1. Thanks! I'll do that this weekend. Darren.
  2. Ah. I was worried about that. Still, springs are tough eh. I'll see how it goes - if I survive I'll let you know. Cheers! Darren.
  3. No it's not wobbling (changed my ball joints a while ago too) - just leaking fluid all over the place. Last time I patched up the pipes that lead to the rear so fluid still going round the system, but easier to just bypass at the solenoid I reckon.
  4. Nice one! Another easy repair. Cheers!!
  5. If I bypass the pipes to the HICAS (so no pressurised fluid goes to the HICAS system) and short out the reservoir sensor (so it thinks the reservoir is empty and disables HICAS) will the HICAS wobble around? Just wondering what the effect of no pressurised fluid in the unit will have, as I am not planning to put in a HICAS eliminator - just fed up with all the leaks from the rusted pipes. Cheers, Darren.
  6. S'ok. I have sourced one of these now. Cheers
  7. Hi Paul, Yes, I could do with a replacement actually. Mine is knackered! What do you want for it? Sorry but my subscription ran out last month (just realised when I tried to PM), just tried to renew but paypal is playing up. In the meantime could you email me at daz_zed_300@yahoo.co.uk please? Cheers Darren.
  8. Yup, you were right. No key there now. There was also a chunk out of the crank - so probably why the key fell out (or was disintegrated). Read one of your former posts though and will apply the liquid metal and a new key. Hopefully, it'll last, Thanks, Darren.
  9. Don't think it was me but I live just round the corner from Hughenden, mines dark blue and I have gold wheels (cheap ones mind). So there's more about than I thought. I have seen a white one near Hughenden too - don't think it's anyones on here though.
  10. Sounds like a useful thing to have. I'll see if I can acquire one. Other than that a couple of nails hammered in should do the trick eh :) Cheers.
  11. Thanks, I will remove it all tonight and check. The engine was replaced a few years ago so quite likely some bits got left out. Hopefully, it will all just bolt back on. paulbrem: Thanks, once I've had a look I may take you up on the offer. Cheers.
  12. Hey hey, not my fault this time (honest). Will give it a good tug this time! Ta,
  13. On the way back tonight and had a bit of belt squeeling, then the alternator light came on and loss power steering. Had a look and the crankshaft pulley has almost come off!! It is at an angle crashing into the crank case sending iron filings everywhere. Has this happened to anyone else? All I hear all the time is people having trouble getting these things off - not them falling off! Guess I need a new one... Cheers, Darren.
  14. I have a uk spec '93 tt and ran S14 200SX wheels on the 'rears' for over a year! They fit fine and are great fun!
  15. Just renewed. Any chance of a keyring? Cheers
  16. Don't think it was me mate, haven't been to Aylesbury for a while, although I usually am fairly close. Don't think mine would warrant the 'very nice indeed' description at the moment either :p
  17. You thought about getting those sub-frame spacers? I believe they can take up the slack you get with old bushes - and only take about half hour to fit.
  18. Hey hey, I work down the road in Long Crendon. Suprised I haven't seen you before. Not been squeezing into any tight parking spaces then? (I noticed the tape around the wing mirror :D ) Well if you see a Blue Z around town - then that's me. See ya
  19. Can't remember what the car park is called. You get to the high street by going through an alley way. Hey, aren't you up in Leicester? Is there another Thame near you or are we talking about the same one in Oxfordshire??
  20. In the car park round the back (can't remember the name). G reg, Jap, Manual. Anyones???
  21. Wouldn't worry about it mate. Mine doesn't go into first very easily either (usually have to put it in neutral, give the throttle a blip then slide it down to first). You could try changing the gearbox oil though. I think Redline MT90 is the stuff to use, and should improve shifting a bit.
  22. If it all works ok (shifting etc) I wouldn't worry. There is a thick rubber gaitor under the normal plastic/leather gaitor though. This should be sealed and prevents the noise from the gearbox travelling into the cockpit. They do split eventually though and this makes all those 'gearbox sounds' louder. You can replace the rubber gaitor or, as I did, glue it back and seal it nice and snug with lots of silicone sealant I had left over from when I did the bathroom ;)
  23. Got mine now too! Ta
