Hi, Just a quick question ref the gearbox oil cooler. I have a jap import and have read and seen (in Zcentre web site ) that its recommended that the cooler is changed for a bigger one. How high on 'the things to do' list should i put this on. How many people have done this?? Is it prevention is better than cure!! thanks. Look forward to your views Jonce

Hi, Just wondering if anyone can help. The speakers in the back of my Z have given up. I had a web site giving me a little info on installing 6*9 speakers in the rear but i lost it and can't find it anywere. :( Ive had a look myself and tryed to figure out how such speakers can be fitted but to no sucsess. Does anyone know a web site that can help or any surgestions. thanks jonce

Buddy, speak to luke at the z centre. His number is 01159676356. He will help you ref the delimiter. He changed mine a few weeks ago. Somone had changed my my speedo clock but not the limiter. cheers johno

Hi, if you want to know about how the targa panels etc.. come appart try the 300zx.org.uk site and it has an on line manual that shows them. They come under the section of 'Body' in the 'tech' section. Don't know about the sealent but would like to find out because i've got to do that job in the summer. johno

does the toad A1600/A1606 allow you to fit a turbo timer into the system?? Also how much would i be looking at to get a toad alarm fitted. Is it cat1???

hi, When you mention the tie bar bushes do you mean the tension rod bushes. Are they the same thing or am i barking up the wrong tree. I know my tension rod bushes are knacked because when i lifted the car the other week i noticed them.

trev, I ment when i depress the brake when the car is stationary. e.g when parked via the hand brake and then press the brake pedal

What sort of alarm is good for the Z. Thing is;is i dont want to buy an alarm and then not be able to fit a turbo timer or visa versa. cheers johno :D

Hi, just wondering why its recommended to change the water pump with a cam belt renewal? What do you look for to make you decide to change it if its a 'take a look' scenario. Reason is, i have a belt but some people say change the water pump. WHY??? thanks :bow:

When i was looking for my Z 6/7 months ago i just did the same as you. Asking is the best policy. Ive got a jap import (auto) and the only problem ive had so far was the speed limiter on the gear box but that wasnt a hastle to change. Watch out for leaky targa tops and try and get info on cam belt change. I havent looked back... never realised how boring driving had been until i found my 'Z'. Go for it!!!

Hi everyone, just wondering if any of you fellow z owners could help me with a irritating creaking sound from my front left suspension. Its not there all the time just every other day. Ive noticed its when the weather has got crap. Ive had the car for 6 months and it was ok all summer but when it started snowing etc... it began. Are Z's prone to any problems like this. Ive asked a few mecanicaly minded people and they say it could be 'a dry joint' ??? also i know the bearings are ok. It only creaks on the bigger bumps and if i change direction. Its not rythmical(if you know what i mean) (creak, creak,creak)but its loud!! cheers Johno :dance:

Hi Dave, Just going through the threads and noticed your solution to the Jap import bulbs. Ive only had my Z 6 months and would like brighter light without having to buy HID etc.. Could you explain a little more on what and where i put the wire in instalation,also what bulbs are ok to use because all the bases are different.Hope you dont mind me asking but do you know where i can get hold of front fog bulbs?? thanks so much "jonce"
