top gear is a great and funny show, but they only reveiw top end or euro box cars that i will never pay for, i don't really watch 5th gear but have done the last few weeks and think its quite good, tbh owt about cars is better than the usual shite on tv.

so you remove the ignition key and lock the car up and the engine is still running for a few mins as you walk away, IS THAT WHAT THEY DO?????, if yes is the anwser, then there is no way i'm fitting one, i'd rather have a digital clock!

ive just fitted a 52mm analogue with my soon to arrive gauges in the din slot above my haed unit, having a digital one is pointless and looks shite

maybe your right, prob not worth it, need to think of something to replace that pointless digital clock with.

This is my problem, i love to drive it full hammer as much as poss, and i can't leave my car on the drive ticking over once i get home cos there is lots of scum where i live and there is a very real chance it could get nicked. another thing, will the alarm i have cause a problem, its one of the cobra alarms with the tear drop fobs.

arn't they meant to prolong the life of your turbos when your only doing short journeys or have i got the wrong end of the stick

Anybody got one installed in thier zed and if so can they reccomend any particular brand, there is a few on ebay but i don't know what im looking for so can't decide if they are any good. After much searching around i have finally mamaged to get hold of a Series 2 climate control pod and ecu, now the pod looks very simple to fit and i would imaging the ecu is the same, i've been told it goes somewhere in the drivers footwell, but where?????. What do i need to remove to get to it. i've just had a look and cant see anything that looks like the box that i have, do i need to pull back the carpet,remove the centre console,take off the piece under the steering wheel, any advce will be really appreciated and the more detailed the better thanks in advance

so what did you do, just go round once and call it a day???? you must have carried on going round but just not thrashed it, only going to soak up the atmosphere, lots of car enthusiasts together, and also to open it up on the straights. its the experiences like the crazy auzzie that makes it such and amazing place. any idea where you get these forodo pads from, cant see them anywhere to buy online.

i don't believe all this crap about the ring being so bad, i have watched vids and spoken to people who take there cars there 3-4 time a year, never have any probs, somebody off here is taking the zed over before me and they go there all the time with other motors, ill ask him.

ill take both, and see what happens, prob fit the ebc before i go, try them on the first day, if there shite ill put on the 2500's and see how they stand up.

im using them on the nurburgring, putting them on 2 weeks before i go, and wearing them in on the drive there, then taking round 8 laps, then will prob replace with some crap for the drive home, then buy some for general driving, kevlar something i suppose, maybe ebc red stuff if the yellow ones are ok on the track????

anybody ever tried the yellow stuff by ebc, they are meant to be really good????
