If the steering was taken off and moved in the past then yes you can take it off and put it back, if it has slowly goten worse or the track arm has been bent then no it will either need re tracking or a new arm and tracking.

There are some very good sources on this site, try Andy P or JD (johndixon) Also DTA. All reputable sources. Dont waste money on those ebay jobs u will just regret it.

1.6 bar on stock tubs is not likely. Even if they did reach 1.6 they wouldnt last long and on stock injectors either would the engine, im suprised it didnt blow already, Like stated above, you cant run more than 16psi efficeintly on stock turbos and you cant run safely above 14-15 on stock injectors so upgrading the injectors would be a good first step but you will need a new chip with them. You wont need to increase fuel pressure either for that setup. I think you should buy a set of 555's and run 14-15psi on good fuel and maybe some better IC's Until you upgrade your turbos you cant see more than above.

Its more worth fitting 555cc no alot more £££ Power difference will depend on boost pressure and cooling. Stock injectors are on there max at about 14-15 psi any higher and you run the risk of leaning out and causing damage to engine. With 555cc you have much more flow than your stock turbos can handle. So maybe running a little more than 14 psi will be ok, anymore and your turbos will just be super heating the air and will run less efficently, so make sure your cooling is good for 15 maybe 16 psi any more than that and you will just be loosing power than gaining really.

Standard pressure should be about 39-41 psi. idling 700-850rpm you wont need any more than that for 1 bar boost.

Its just convenience, If he has the na pot and pump then i think he will prob need the new pipe aswell but im not sure. Ive ordered that bypass stuff just waiting for it to arrive, i will prob just leave those pipes dangling or if its not too much trouble il rip them out.
