  1. yeah get an open one if your wanting to do alot of track days as then at least you can hear and talk to your passenger, with the closed ones they cover your mouth so talking is hard work. will be more comfortable and easier to see. I will protect your head, just be careful of ya chin lol
  2. i used to own a shoei which set me back £350, was a lovely looking one too.
  3. i got a hard red one in my pants u can have............
  4. these are whats fitted to the 370z ;) i think?!?!?
  5. With the creeping crackcure what u wanna do is sqiurt it on the joints while the targas are onso it CREEPS through the sills and in all the joints and places where water might get through then it sealsit self ;) you wanna do it a few times, maybe once every day 3 times.
  6. think your more likely to get shot more than anything lol...... my best friends wifes brother was shot out there along with others lol quite bad crime up there.
  7. blow compressed air down the holes, also follow the drain pipes to make sure they havent popped off, mine had but luckily i had noticed it and put it back on, i also heated up the pipe and stretched it to give itsome extra length as theshrink with age and pop off.
  8. what a bunch of pussys the rain is the most fun u can have in a rwd :D Mine does stay locked up when the grit comes out tho.....
  9. indeed, lol just temporary for now.
  10. i just put an extra litre of oil in the sump on the track.
  11. Theres a midget bloke in ascot i know with a couple spanners and a hammer, he has offered to fit it all for £30 including VAT. ah one more thing mark, you see the 3 bolt compressor oulet in the pic above, does that require a gasket or can liquid gasket be used?
  12. yeah thats what im after also, on some corners the oil pressure needle would fall to zero and back up again,.... scary......
  13. hmmm just spent 20 quid on 2 studs and a bolt how fun for me.....
  14. oooo ive just realised i missed out buying the downpipe studs whoops, god where to get there now. mjp does them but for £6 each ouch.
  15. yeah thats still on the neverending list......
  16. Thanks, ive forgoten the name, but they are the same as the jwt530bb's but the inlet hasnt a flange, so i will be using a silicon coupling which is a pain coz its bit close to the manifolds, which is one of the reasons i have heat wrapped them. Same compressor size and turbo ball bearing housing as silverstreak.
  17. copy cat lol. :D I still got so many things i wanna do to it. just wait.......
  18. this is the stuff...... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DEI-HT-Silicone-Coating-Black-Exhaust-Header-Wrap-Spray_W0QQitemZ380177349393QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item588455fb11 not cheap at all, they all rip you on postage. But its worth it coz it hepls the FB last.
  19. ebay exhaust wrap, cant remmember which seller but it came in a MASSIVE roll, like 50ft lol. i also bought the silicon sealant spray and stainless cable ties from ebay too. Little tip wear a mask and gloves that FB stuff is so deadly,
  20. Ive finally pieced everything together for my turbo fitment, ams copy manifolds, heat wrapped and silicon coated z1 split downpipes " " hks actuators a new engine wiring harness all gaskets etc restrictors oil lines bla bla bla and solid engine mounts,..... should eliminate any engine movement and put less stress on the drivechain etc..... yep its guna be very noisy in there haha.
  21. woop woop my loom just arrived this minute, :D
  22. Honestly the tyre heats up quicker with more pressure i too thought it was the other way around till i came across endless threads and write ups on tyre pressures etc. If the tyres were seriosuly low pressure then the tyre "walls" would heat up and probably blister duw to excess friction but its a different matter in the centre of the surface patch. stock Zeds heavy yes especially when adding weight ie ICE systems, heavy 19inch cheap wheels, bolt on mods etc!?! mine isnt so much anymore, it weights 1470kg ;) compared to some 1700kg zeds. im still to fit lightweight glass and lots more :D The pressures i used seemed to work well so i stuck to them , dont forget it was in august and it was VERY VERY hot sun was blazing engine was overheating etc.
  23. id say no problem, but they gota make a deal, if the compression is up to scratch they gota buy it, would be a right pain in the ass and a waste of time otherwise unless doing it themselves which means you gota watch them do it which is still time consuming.
