  1. Thats nice... So.... when the first time someone asked you if it was a turbo how did it make you feel?
  2. here are some results just posted on the us forum: 268CFM @ 20" with 1.2PSI Pressure Drop each ( TOTAL = 536CFM w/ 1.2PSI Pressure Drop) Its all japanese to me apart from the pressure drop bit. What are numbers for the named ic's so we can compare?
  3. but these are even cheaper and havent been tested more reason for me to buy. Really i should do a dyno before and after though.
  4. Smithy i just spent ages reading it too, i think i got a bit excited again with the cost and all the good comments, I did look at the intercooler again and i know what ya mean by bad end tank design, it is a bit right angled but only on the intake side not the output side which i suppose is more important??? Im still up for being a test dummy, i thought the size would make up for the poor design or am i wrong? Surely you can improve ventilation throught the fog ducts? Well until ive tested them we will never know. We need more spontanious peeps on this forum to try diferent things and live on the edge a bit. You only live once :D
  5. You can still modify your bumper to flow air to the places needed like removing the fog lights etc.
  6. Well ive just been payed today so once i get to work il buy me a set :D Heres all the info you need: http://www.300zxclub.com/showpost.php?p=1361724&postcount=163 pmsl
  7. Welll ive just been on the us forum the aussy forum and all looks good, so far nothing but good words from peeps who have fitted them , etc etc loads of peeps are buying them out there no problems, some have compared them to the greddies saying the build welds are impressive if not the same. so Theres PROOF that these can handle 700 bhp from the link legrath just posted. im sorry but i dont need any more convincing. And for the price im really getting a stiffy :D I see no problem with purchasing these. If they are doing it why cant we? God speed also make radiators and other fabricated parts for the 300zx and have all had good reviews. The price is also going up on these so it seems??? heres the link to the thread in question. http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=124195&page=1&pp=30&highlight=godspeed
  8. I think im going to purchase a set of these and give them a shot, get some feedback for you lot. And what do you mean by the end tank design andy? Will only set me back a few hundred quid i recon.
  9. They are no good you better give them to me:D
  10. Well what a bunch of fannies, so really they are cheats, so everyday driving bhp in the us is just a myth haha. So whats the highest commercial ron the yanks can purchase at a local gas station then? Some are as low as 87
  11. woohoooo freebies :D:D:D so what would you recommend andy? whats the devin like?
  12. While visiting the yank forum i noticed they dont as high ron than us?
  13. So could someone write a list them? example: unleaded, cost, ron(octane level) Note?
  14. So whats the lowest we can buy? Actually it would be helpful for someone to write a list of all the types of petrols available in the uk and a little note next to each one with some info?????????? Any takers?
  15. Less ron = more carbon build up on the pistons and stuff :D
  16. You got the wrong link, carrillo's are like one of the best and most expensive rod for a vg30 i wish i was rich enough, the ones on ebay are eagles and who knows if they are legit or not damaged :D try this link for the basic rebuild kit with rods and pistons eagle and wiseco. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=2832&osCsid=b24a90f8f1a9681f8a6b1401480a0b99 and this one you can add the eagles for $500 but carillos for an extra $1200  http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=2833
  17. Andy so what chip did you give me ? it was yellow and had 555 on it?
  18. You can thicken up soups with potatoes so your wrong haha :D ok heres a start to what you can use them both for: EGGs: cakes marangue scrambled fried pasta carbonara raw rocky style omelette poached throwing at people thickening agent boiled salads Potatoes: potatoe gratan jacket pot mashed stick it up ya enemies exhaust spud guns hash browns thickening agent baked roasted salads ok now add to the list i know theres loads more you can do with them..
  19. Decatting does not damage the seals in anyway, it reduces back pressure making it easier for oil to seep past the exhaust seal rings, thats if they are on their last legs. If they leak then you can put the cats back on and your back to normal. Yes im very bored with my life :D
  20. No its the great free flowing thought of the japanese chopstick holding guru on the long right hander of tokyo drift :D
  21. so thats the volvo you were talking about, I like it. Is there a forum? we could start one? :D
  22. injectors are 370cc In my eyes 10 year old stock pistons are only good for 10psi (if that) after that you can expect quicker wear thats of course if youve got a heavy foot, i know that some on this forum say they have been running 15psi for 2 years with no probs but have they actually taken it for a thrashing around a track at full throttle for 15 mins? I suppose bigger ic's injectors and rad will see a little extra headroom but for how long? All it takes is a long blast on the throttle with a bit of extra unwanted heat, a weak injector, det.... and BYE BYE I ran mine at 14psi expecting my rings to snap and when they did i had an excuse for an uprated build which im doing now... cant wait woohooooo
  23. Yeah mine burns the crap out of my lap, gets very hot, nice for those cold winter days though, it used to overheat and turn off, but a quick blow through the heat vents and a face full of dust and it doesnt anymore :D
  24. when i say sensor rings i meant the groves on the halfshafts or just at the end of them, so yeah on the diff then, so stop being clever:tongue: , they rotate with the shaft or "diff" they are called sensor rotors so there , the sensors, those little round things with the wires coming of them are on the diff too.
