2. As ive recently moved to essex from london i have no contacts here and dont fancy letting any cowboy touching my wheels. Anyone local who has a tyre machine who can change mine for a good deal? Im not paying £15 a tyre, thats day light robbery for something that takes less than 20mins. Just bought a full set of federal semi slicks and i cant wait to try them out on the road.

14. Bit desperate as im driving a long way 2mow morning and i can only find top brand tyres which are too expensive, i need a budget tyre or even if someone is breaking a smart car and has a spare wheel with a used tyre. Anything goes :) Let me know 07915608451

16. Ferrari 360 Modena Kerb weight: 1,450 kg Maximum power: 405 PS (300 kW; 400 bhp) @ 8500 rpm[1] Maximum torque: 373 N·m (275 lbf·ft) @ 4750 rpm (3,197 lb This is fun its like trumps :) ooo i wannna see what the ferrari california is like in weight
17. Thanks, :) kinda looking like a space ship now. Oh im also thinking of wiring up a switch to my ecu to enable ecu diagnotics so i dont have to access the ecu or plug in a consult. might be as simple as shorting it from the actual diagnostic connector (the bit you plug your consult into), just connecting 2 spades to the correct wires and bobs your uncle, switchy switcherson oh how i love trigger switches. Although it might be a better idea to use a push hold button for the diagnostics just so you dont forget to turn it back on although it doesnt make a difference and would be obvious due to the ecu light flashing up codes.
18. Not the hardest of mods to do but it works and you now have the choice of controling your brakes all by yourself or having abs do the hard work. I went switch crazy and fitted one to my wideband sensor so i can turn the wideband sensor off when the ignition is in the on position and im not planning on starting the car which leads to a dead sensor, having to warm itself up for no reason. Fitted a switch for my A pillar pods so i can switch them off completely at night to stop the glare which is dangerous, it really made it hard to see at night down those dark country lanes with the constant blue and red lights flashing in my eyes.
19. lol, it will work, all im doing is adjusting the amount of shims on the track rod ends till the laser stays as straight as possible along the verticle line i have drawn on the chart, like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWzCHHMuXU8
20. I should give you my sideskirts to mould.....
21. curious to hear what some of you guys are running and it would be nice to have a thread with everyones setup jotted down not only for an idea of what to use but also for peoples feedback. would be great if you can attach the printout. Il have to dig out my printout and post it up as i cant remmeber my toe settings. Im running the following bare in mind i do alot of track days: FRONT: camber -2.45 Caster 10.00 Toed out, REAR: Camber -2.00 Toed in at the moment the front toes in under compression ever so slightly (as much as i can tell), im thinking of making my own bumpsteer gauge with a laser pen attached to one the front wheels and a home made chart at the front of the car with a vertical line drawn in, basically the laser will point at the centre of the vertical line at ride height then i can raise the height of the car and see exactly how much the wheels are steering during compression and rebound. Pretty cowboy but it should work. Should be able to minimise bumpsteer as much as possible.
22. i had to go white to match the front porsche decals.
