  1. So, can the average exhaust specialist fabricate an exhaust from turbo back without taking out the engine, I remember how hard it was to replace my downpipes, could just about get to the bolts.

  3. Why do screamer pipes need external wastegates? I thought you just let them vent to atmosphere, while the rest goes through to the rear of the car?

  5. That's exactly what I needed to hear.... Screamer pipes and 3inch baby

  7. So I would have to change downpipes aswell? For it to make a difference? Was thinking 3inch just after downpipes. No? My current downpipes I think are stainless z1 downpipes and they have been fibre glass wrapped same as my AMS manifolds.

  9. I'm struggling to hold 19psi of boost which usually tails off around 4500rpm, I can get boost spikes of 24psi. At the moment I have a 2.5inch twin exhaust with crappy gaskets which don't fit properly and probably reduce bore size it has also been somewhat squashed from my low ride height. I have since raised the ride a touch and before forking out £1000 for a custom fabricated 3inch exhaust (which they can neatly tuck under the car to avoid being squashed) I want to know if it's going to be beneficial or a waste of money, either way it still needs changing. I want to know if it will effect the way the turbos are losing pressure and if I can squeeZe a few more horses out when it's remapped. Managed a 12.6sec 1/4mile few years back Currently 470bhp Gt25r turbos Godspeed intercoolers Q45maf Forged engine rebuild Shit exhaust Loads of other stuff I can't remember

  11. Yeah I bought some jun fibre glass arches put then against the arches and was like erm no **** this can't be assed, they need too much trimming and work to get them fitting right. Maybe plastic ones would sit more flush without too much work.
  12. Thanks guys, found a place local who specialise in exhaust fabrications. So I'm Guna be 3inch from downpipes back, and have them tuck it up as best as possible to avoid bottoming out. Also I'm raising the ride Height on Sunday if it doesn't rain... Plus fitting 265/35/18 Federal rsr's all Round
  13. Hmmmm Bristol is a bit far but let me check them out.
  14. I want to have a custom exhaust fabricated so that its tucked up nicely and doesn't scrape along the floor like my current setup, any well known exhaust specialists in the London area that can do this or anyone in here? Also if anyone has used 3inch systems let me know, money waiting ££££
  15. Baz, I'm doing this arch work, just a quick question, I'm wondering once the wheels are offset an extra 50mm and the arches added did you have to cut away some off the original bodywork so the Tyres didn't rub on the original metal arch? I don't fancy cutting away bodywork tbh. Im doing this mod so I can raise the ride height and still have the wheels super close to the arches for that nice stance but also have a little extra Ride height for less driving inconvenience. BUMPS AHHHHH

  18. They only have uk spec and one drivers side jdm grrrrrrr
  19. Some ****er kicked mine off yesterday and broke the mechanism if anyone has one close by that would be perfect so I can pick it up as I've had enough, spent my day off trying to fix it. I'm In north London. Doesn't matter the colour.
  20. Managed to ave the ecu, took it apart and noticed the IGN circuit had a burn out connection so I soldered it back to health. Started up a Gooden. Picked the cars up at night and got into a naughty race with a new lambo, he couldn't leave me hah. Everytime he put his foot down I responded and caught up. I forget how quick this thing is.
  21. Hi guys it's been a while, think my ecu has broken, fat friend of mine sat in the passenger seat and kicked it car then tired off and hasn't started since. Spark plugs are clean and there's no spark or fuel going in. So pretty sure it must be ecu. It's been mapped so il Have to also solder my mapped chip into the new ecu unless someone has one with an adapter already fitted?
