i gave the fuel pump a direct feed from the fuel pump relay bypassing the pump ecu and wiring ive found that there is an orange wire that links the egi relay and coil relay which goes to the main ecu i have cut the wire and found its stayin live keeping the ing on if you pull the wire off the ing goes off and then if you take the keys out of the ing and then put that orange wire to an earth even though its live put it to the earth and the ggi relay and the coil relay click and the ing lights cone on ive been going though the wiring diagrams and still having probs workin it out im at my wits end now as i can only stay out side for a bit at a time as its too cold for my injured foot and thumb ps also disconnected the ptu whilst testing and it still does it

not some much the afc just why it keeps blowin the fuel pump/egi/ing coil fuse im runnin out of steam and im surposed to be resting cheers for the free bump

last plee for help before i give on zed's for good as i still cant find out wots going wrong PLEASE

Im in need of some help even though i should'nt be out side and i should be still resting but thats not me well before i went to hospital i had the prob that i couldnt turn the car off well its sorted it self out but now i keep blowin the fuel pump fuse so i unpluged the pump and it stoped blowing the fuses so i put it down to the pump now ive changed the pump and its still doing it so id though about the ecu's so ive change the fuel pump ecu and i was going to change the main ecu and found an apexi AFC air flow converter wot does this do as im not 100% sure could this have some thing to do with the problem since ive changed the main ecu the car wont start and fuel pump relay wont do anything now i gettin pieeed now so can anyone help me please!!! :confused:

Whats the diffrence between a turbo ecu and a N/A ecu any help would be apprieciated cheers chris

oh it just done it out of the blue i surpose i better start lookin for a ecu now so this must be the third bad luck thumb/then car was hit now the ecu great thats all i need well thatnks for the help you guys have givin me much apprieciated

Right my n/a manual wont turn off you can start it fine but when you go to turn it off it wont unless you take the egi relay out then you can turn it off and also if you leave the relay out you can still start it any ideas welcome as i dont have any and wot does this relay do?? :confused: cheers chris

i was workin on a new tipper lorry cut steel sections out for a weighing system to be fitted and i was cutting the weld off a box section and the weld broke and i think traped the angle grinder and i heard a big bang and found my thumb was missing and the steel section had moved so still not sure what cut it off if grinded did it or the steel came out hospital yesterday after 6hrs ish of micro surgry the have taken part of my big toe and made an new bit for my thumb so as well as havin a bad hand i now have a very painful left foot and sore thigh for the skin graft so all in im happy as larry!

found out there was a party on friday one was aressted who was in the van that hit my car so ive reported it and ive got to go to the police station tomrrow sorry about the typing but one handed is hard

Well ive just come out of hospital after cutting my thumb off and havin 6 hrs of micro surgery and i came home today after being stuck there for a week and find my car had been hit in the drivers side door and rear quarter panel not a welcome home surprise i was hoping for so as well as havin to be off for 2mths unpaid to recover ive now got to fine the money to get the car repaired as the excess is 350 :cry:

sorry i couldnt make it mate so much stuff going on and i still cant help you as wednesday this week i cut my thumb off at work whilst workin on a new lorry so im in and out of hospital at the mo will see i can pop up this weekend but wont be able to help cheers chris
