  1. LMFAO!!!! Oh Dear Si!!! We eat them for breakfast don't we??!!! After seeing one on this thread with weird light a while ago i'll include 3: Pergeout to your list!! :D You might be able to make an Enzo if you changed the lights a bit or a 360 modena!
  2. Ahhh, Fair doo's then isn't I suppose!!! Poor old traders, there only trying to do there job!!
  3. Din't know Timmy got banned... Wondered why he's not been on here for a while, what did he do so wrong?????
  4. Hey Russ!!! As much as I like it i'm gonna advise you NOT TO DO IT!!! You really wanna go for Powder coated gold or a polished plenum cause Black is a colour that absorbs heat and the Z engine runs hot enough as it is without that extra black absorbing stuff on top of it!!! Why do you think the Mclarren F1 engine is coated in gold??? Gold is the best heat reflector out there and no we'renot talking 24 carrott although it would be nice, just a normal shiny gold powder coat would look smart and give you better heat reflecting properties, a cooler engine and performance gains!!! ;)
  5. I'm gonna agree with you Chris on this one!! I'm running Falken FK451's all round on my Z 265x35x18 on the back and 235x40x18 on the front and have had them on there for 1 year and 8months so far and the've still got loads of meat left on them!!!! Used to run them on my 338BHP S12 Silvia too (225x45x16") then changed to Toyo T1-s's then back to Falken's.. (It's amazing how a like Silvia is to the Z!) The grip is fantastic and In my honest opionion just as good as the Toyo T1-S's is was running before but the durabilty is a lot longer.. Only got 1 year and 2months out of the toyo's before they became illegal!!! Interesting point to note with the Falkens is when your on the limit of adhesion you get into a progressive slide which is easy to get the Z back in line again when the tyres start to sqeel but i've noticed with the Toyo's although they are an excellent tyre soon as they start to squeel you better be quick on the opposite lock else your gonna fall off the road!! Flakens we're pretty good in the snow recently too, although the Z'ed was spinning everywhere with a bit of light footed right foot control you could get moving easily! A good all round tyre IMHO! :hyper:
  6. Hi Simon!!! Have you ever heard of this "Royal Purple" stuff??? From what i've read allthough it's quiet expensive it's supposed to be "one of the best" oils you can use in a performance engine... The nascar boys use it in the states, and cause of it's properties can net you an additional 4.7% bhp just by an oil change! Just wondered what you're thoughts are on it as i'm thinking of using it in my Z next oil change... Website here... http://www.synerlec.com Cheers, Jon
  7. Ahhh, seen it loads of times!!! Good ol' Ari Vatanen in his pug in group B days... They used to run 4 Bar of boost back then!!! Fooking nutters!!!
  8. I think that's very sensible and not geeky!!! If such a third party device exists then it would be interesting to see what G data the Z32 actually generates. Would love something like the R34GTR skylines have got! :D
  9. It always been hydraulic, the only difference from what i've read is some of the grey imports started to use Electronic control to tell the HICAS system what to do... Know as HICAS 2, Grey imports have different setting for the HICAS rear suspension and they also lack the two-position dampers of the UK cars... You can stiffen the suspension by pulling up the handbreak one click on a UK TT... The US apperently we're lucky enough to have a soft and hard switch!!!
  10. It seems if you got a UK 300ZXTT then HICAS doesn't appear to be a problem.. This is becuase all UK TT's we're lucky enough to be fitted with the HI Speed version of HICAS which apperently consisted of an optimized CPU instruction set and stiffer shocks and springs and this is why UK TT's look higher off the ground than there JAP Counterparts.. If Nissan didn't think HICAS was a good idea then they would have fitted it to the ZXTT, it's there for a reason... I've got a 92 UK TT and I gotta say it really does stick to the road, a lot of my mates who have no car knowledge what so ever all say how stable it is and hoe well it handles around round abouts and tight bends at speed without me even mentioning it to them..
  11. Very Nice Mate!!! Even better the fact you gotta BIG front mounted Intercooler but for god sake make sure you get a new front bumper with a bigger air intake to expose the intercooler.. More cooler fresh air = more BHP!!!
  12. Anyone remember the late 70's early 80's F1 cars which ran a 1.4litre Turbo engine and produced 1200Bhp????? cause the piston chamber takes a lots less volume of air this is where the higher boost figures are comming from and the boost guage would shower a higher boost rating but not 28Psi unless he's got water injection and forged pistons!
  13. Oh my god!!! Just read this thread and am absolutly gobsmacked.... He was a really nice bloke as well as a very talented driver and thought he was making a recovery... Yes it does make you think cause rally drivers are one of the fittest out there and have to work out hard than F1 drivers.... A sad loss to the motorsport world, he'll be greatly missed...
  14. Good work Dave!!! I know what i'm gonna be doing on my "Day off tomorrow!" now!!!! :headvswal
  15. Colour is awsome Jay, really love it!!! It'll def make you stand out from the crowd and those wheels are just the puppys privates!!!  Hurry up and get the bugger finished!!! Jon

Oh well!!! Good work fellas anyway!!! ;)
  18. Yeah Richard! Doesn't happen very often cause I live quiet near the coast but when it does boy does it come with avengence!!! The problem I got is where I live it's very hilly and as we all know the Z'ed ain't the best in slippery conditions so rather than take the chance and just sit there spinning on a step hill up to my place and let the back end drift into someone else's car thought i'd play it safe and just park up on the main road which is flat next to the kerb.. Nick someone elses parking space mind and on double yellows but she's home all recovered now! ;)
  19. Luckely it's parked on the main road just down from my cottage but even luckier it started pissing it down with rain tonight at about 9pm and cleared the worst of it so i've just been down and got her!!! All home safe and sound thank god!!!

Anychance we could make this thread to 100 posts????
  21. Who's been driving there Z out in the snow today???! I drove to work this morning and it was cold but no snow, drove home from work and we'd had about 3 inches and they hadn't even gritted the main roads FFS!! :headvswal The Z was quiet composed though, had to be gently bently on the throttle with wide 265's on the back else it would just spin, even taking off in 2nd gear.... Every time i stopped though it was a bitch to get moving again, all that low down grunt would make me just spin on the spot.. Had to abandon the Z on a very step hill due to slow moving traffic, bet sum coont goes into it tonight now... :(
  22. Not done too bad this year with the new engine extra mods and labour have spent £3742 and last year was about £5300 on HKS hybrid tubs new 18" wheels tyres and big wing etc... Oh my god just realised how much i've spent in the 4 years i've owned her.... :hurl:
  23. Cool dog mate!!! Here's a picture of my doggie "Honey"
  24. Absolutely love it!!!! Sod sticking exhausts on it!
