Really, Really upsetting news.. Saw it live on the TV last night as a news flash... I thought it was gonna be ok too... I don't know why they had to lift it onto the bardge thingy, shorly there must have been another way to get it back into open waters, like putting some kind of open rubber cadge device around it so it would still be in the water and then almost towing it along at a safe speed??? very sad though.... :cry:

I really would considder changin the spark plugs dude as they might be fowled up or the sparking gap is set a little too big.... Worse case check all the coils and make sure you have no breaks in the wires and the connectors arn't corroded... Hope this helps!!! ;)

That's cause you got tiny ones!!!! :D I bought my dump valves thinking they would be standard size then realised they wern't gonna fit where I wanted them cause they are so much bigger so then ended up getting a Kenlow electric fan and ditching the power sapping viscous coupling fan!!! Expensive business just to get my valves fitted!!! ;)

Depends on what you want buddy Functionality or a longer lasting noise!! :D The correct postion and this is the way the WRC and Rally boys do is to put them is as close to the throttle bodies as possible so that when you lift off the accelerator and the throttle bodies close the unused air hasen't got far to travel and gets DUMPED out of the intake pipes imedeatly reducing lag and keeping your Turbo's spinning at a higher RPM, in other words a Quick Dump so when you get back on it from a gear change you got instant ooooph!!! If you place them on the bottom pipes then when the throttle bodies close all that compressed air has to travel back through the top intake pipes, down through the intercoolers then through up through the bottom mass of pipe only to be dumped.. (Will give a longer dump and a better noise) the only problem is when you get back on the accelerator all that mass of undumped air still in the pipe has to be accelerated again down through the bottom pipes, into the intercoolers then up through the top intake pipes feeding the engine!!! IMHO fitting them this way really defeats the object of fitting blow off valves as you get major turbo lag due to the remaing air in the pipes having to be pressurised and accelrated again and major compressor drag from the turbos when there fitted this way.. Yes you still get the noise but you may as well stick with the standard recirc's valves for any perormance gains your gonna get... :smash: I think the only reason people fit them on the bottom pipes is because of easy installation and there is more room to get the blow off valves in there... On the top intake pipes there is no way I would have been able to fit mine if I still had the viscous coupled fan installed and the fan sharoud... There just isn't room... If your gonna do a job properly....... and all that!!!! :D

Here's mine, Blow-off valves plumbed into the top intake pipes near the throttle bodies same as the Vipers..
