Yep, mine does that too. It's all to do with the speed sensor wire connected to the gear box... It's ok in dry weather but if it's been damp then gremlins can happen. :rant: Hate the stiff steering at 30MPH.. It's a pain in the arse!!!

Used too fit my ex girlfriends baby in the back of my Z no problem with his little bucket seat!!! Even better her 4 your old daughter didn't need her booster seat for the back seats either!!! Seems the back seat we're designed especially for little people! :hyper:

That's right, a good test is to go over some speed hump with the handbrake fully down then go over them with it clicked up one notch.. You really can feel the stiffness!!! :hyper: There is also a little switch under the handbrake that sends it into stiff mode, but you can always fit a switch going off this to do the same job...
