  1. Ah, balls can't do the dyno day as working that day but can do any evening for our Land's End Run.. Think my subscription has just run out as I can't edit my posts!

  5. As recommend by our very own Royal and Richard Hammond we're planning a Lands End to St Ives Road Run as it's one of the best routes in the UK. This will prob take place on a week day evening next month to minimise the ammount of traffic on the roads for us to go play... Everyone's welcome in whatever car and the more the merrier, if everyone could let me know what day suits them best then i'll work out details and meeting from there... In all honesty I can't tell you in degrees C but the internal guage which I know is crap is not reading as High as it used to and also if you have been caining the nuts off your Z when you lift the bonnet up you can still touch the top plenum without burning your hand!! Before without vents you just couldn't touch the bugger!! Ouch!!

  10. Thanks for your advice everybody!!! I'll try Znuts option first of seeing how much length I've got spare as it's never been cut before but if not then i;ll get in touch with Danny to get some new hose! Many thanks again lads... ;)
  11. Hello! Does anyone know where I can get some new hose from, the ones that you would normally insert the boost jet into as i've nicked mine when trying to sqeeze my old ones out with some plyers! :slap: Many thanks peeps! ;) Red hose would be nice too if available but not fussy!
  12. Or remove your aircon rad and stick some nice vents in your bonnet, that'll lower the temps big styley! :D

  14. Nice thought, Kirbz! Didn't think of that, where can I get colder ones from, worth a try as I know my plugs are at least 3 years old now.. As far as i'm aware Paul, just standard injectors but it is my second engine of unknow origin and may have 555's... Can't hear any dett at all and like I said it cuts out around 4000RPM when boost has fully built!!! Just wondering if the chip had any other fail safe programming too it???

  16. Been having a weird little problem today, recently i've replaced my 1.0mm boost jets with 0.8mm ones... Have waited till today to give it boot ful as my Z was pulling strong enough without full boost anyway... Was crusing along in 4th Gear and then floored it, the boost built strongly to 18Psi at 4000rpm and then then my Z basicly just cut the boost as if there was some kind of rev limiter there. Carried on driving as normal and everything is ok, still getting plenty of boost at part throttle but nail it in 4th and it just cuts out... It feels like a boost pipe has blown off when it cuts out but all the pipes are fine and secure... You get plenty of boost up until 18PSI then CUT OUT!!! Just wondering if it's the det sensor cutting in but I then though these things don't dectet det above 3000Rpm or something???? :confused: Or do I need to upgrade my Andy P stage 2 chip cause i'm running more boost than 1Bar???? My Z runs ace apart from that, if I just go back to the 1.0ml Boost jets and nail her she's fine at 16PSI.... Any help would be much appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

  18. Hello all! My drivers side door is becoming a bit of a bugger to close lately, it's dropped slightly meaning it has to have a good slam to fully close it!! Does anyone know where I could get a door pin from to sort this problem out?? Many thanks!! ;)
  19. OMG... Just got in from work and seen this... I am deeply shocked and saddend by this terrible news, even getting upset myself reading everyones kind comments... Steve-o I really feel for ya... I never knew or spoke to Jay but he seemed like a one in a million guy. My thoughts go out to his girlfriend Zena, all his friends and family... He'll be missed...

  23. Hi dude, when you nail it listen for a gritty metalicy type noise... If it's doing this then your getting detenation and back off the throttle!!! If the engine noise is nice and smooth then your ok... If your not already, use V-Power to help prevent det and give you more power!! Hope all is good... ;)
