Diff Oil and Lights warning problem!
Had a strange problem when arriving at work the other day, as i pulled into the car park the Diff Oil Warning light and the Lights warning light on the instrument panel lit up.. They won't go away and I can't figure out what could be causing both these to light up! My rear bulbs and brake lights are fine and my diff oil is also ok.. I;ve checked the little black box in the drivers side rear light which the Lights warning is linked to and re soldered all the joints in case there was a dry one! Any thought's would be much appreciated!

Heater Blower, FIXED!
Well I do hope this helps all of you... It's either gonna be one of 2 things, that blue relay which is what I had.. Basically a lazy relay that when tested on a 12v supply would hardly click in or out at all... You couldn't do rapid morse code clicking on it! Or it'll be the resister fan voltage amp which is behind the glove box.. If not the relay then take the fan voltage control amp out, take it apart and resolder any dogy looking bits.. It's not very complex and normally if this goes a big blob of solder will sort it!

Heater Blower, FIXED!
Thanks Dan! Yeah really needed doing before the o2 sensors as everytime it rains which is does seem to now, the front windscreen fogs up quiet bad and really needed the fan to blow it all away! Nearly went down the route of just doing a 12v supply with a switch to the blower itself but that was worse case scenario! All nice and snug in me Z again now! :hyper:

Heater Blower, FIXED!
Ok i've searched high and low on here and other 300zx forums for a cure to the Aircon heater blowers not working... Some diagrams which i assume are from either an early 300ZX with manual aircon show 3 or more relays just to control the blower.. Investigate on My UK Z using the online technical manual and guess wot?! No relays where they say there should be 3! Fact is most of us are Right hand drive and have the Auto Aircon set up... Turned out I had a sticky relay which stoped the blower operation all together... You could here the actuators move the direction of what would be the air when pressing the temp up or down buttons but no power to the blower itself... The location of the suspect relay was behind the fuse box in the drivers footwell. PITA to get to but when testing it with a normal 12v car battery it hardly switched so would very rarly click. In the end I swopped it with the BLUE Relay in the engine compartment labeld aircon. This would normall operate the aircon compressor but seeing as I did away with mine it was a bit redundant. Hope this write up will help those with the same problem I've had as i've spent hours fault finding all for just finding the blower relay! Even took the blower resistar pack apart and re soldered everything as another member did that on here to cure his.. Mine was fine tho. So if your blowers arn't working when you hit the AUTO button on the climate control pod but everything else seems alive, it's THE BLUE RELAY behind the fusebox in the drivers footwell! I can be warm again now this winter and defog my windscreen!!! :hyper:

Who else's Zed is running perfectly
95% there, just gotta change the o2 Sensors and change the inlet air intake gasket on the left turbo! Apart from that daily drive and doesn't hickup or miss a beat.
