Mine was the original zed in the film and badger kindly lent us his afterwards. We supplied all of the cars in the film bar the capri and beemers. The film is aimed at the younger generation of car enthusiasts and we were told at one point we needed to lower the standards of cars attending lol. The original race with the 300zx and the M3 was an N/A zx and to be fair he didn't gain much on it! I didn't get to see the whole of the story lines but who cares about them? There is some interesting cars and car bits and pieces in it though that's the main thing! Some of the cars in the film are.. -Badgers zx -The RX7 with RX8 front end -Trials NSX -600+bhp Capri -Veilside 350z -Kitted up Supra -600bhp R34 GTR -550bhp R33 GTR -A mental CHAV sierra. (This is a car stolen by some chavs and modified badly) Loads of other Jap metal and alot of cruise type cars for different scenes. Hopefully the story line will be good too and think it should do well with the target audience it's intended for.

Hi folks. Thanks to everyone that has offered their vehicles, much appraciated. I've decided to take Rob's car for the filming, basically because it's very similar looking so will make things alot easier for us. For those interested in having your car in the film though I've just been given the first date for background cars.(We need 100 cars) The date is October 15th at Madeira Drive in Brighton. Hopefully see some of you there, bring your friends, the more the merrier.

Yes mate, we have a few scenes to film where cars are welcome down for background shots if you fancy it being in there? I'll post the dates up as and when. Thanks for all the emails guys I'm going through them now. :D

Hmmm. Could be done if we struggle for one. Less work the better though tbh. EdK83 the film is a relatively low budget filmed. (Compared to the yank films) It is losely based around a love story between a rocker girl and a boy racer from Brighton with a few twists in it. Carl Davies is the main star. (Robert Sugden from Emmerdale) Also in the film is Frank Harper (Dogg from Lock Stock- he's a sound bloke) Roots Manuva is also involved with the acting and I believe Fatboy Slim is doing the soundtrack. The 300 is Carl's mates car which he uses in a few of the race scenes too. (These are done at a maximum of 50mph) Looks like an interesting film from what I've seen so far.

Unfortunately the budget they've given me won't cover a good full respray mate. :rofl:

Thanks for the response guys. I'll have full details tomorrow of dates the car will be required from and till. You can see if they suit you still. The kit won't be getting fitted willy nilly and the garage that will carry out the work will be agreed with the owner first.

I sold it after the first section of filming was done. Was desperate for the cash at the time. I believe it's been sold on again since then, on ebay aswell so not easy to track.

Hi folks. Is anyone willing to to donate their 300zx to a film production for a month? Obviously not to keep for a month, just use. We will need to add a bodykit to the car and possibly wheels. (If you already have R33 GTR wheels that's a bonus) The bodykit and anything else added you will be able to keep after filming. You must also be prepared to let precision drivers and actors drive the car. (Mostly in closed off roads in Brighton) If you're interested please post up. It will end up looking as close to my old one as we can get it...... Thanks Dan

The next Bristol meet will be held on Sunday the 17th September. Over the last few weeks we've been looking all around the Bristol areas for new places and a different kind of meet to the general static meets that tend to get quite boring, so..... We're going to do a meet with a bit of a difference. Meeting time will be at Gordano services on the M5 J19 at 1pm. We'll all move off in convoy about 1.30/1.45 and follow a pre-planned out route. This will take about 20-30 minutes drive and involves roads from country lanes to fast dual carriageways. Camera positions have already been allocated for the dvd filming along the route. The whole route will be sign posted and everyone issued a map for guidance. (It isn't the easiest route so some of you may find it a challenge) We'll then end up at location 1 that some of you that can remember the Blagdon meet will have been to before. (Video below) After having a bit of fun there we'll then move off to the pub (which has a large car park) for a few drinks and a chat. Hopefully see a load of you there. I can't wait, should be wicked! Video Who's coming?

Modded or standard, they are basically after making the set look like a cruise scene on Tuesday and Thursday. Around 40-50 cars are required, so more the merrier.

Yeah mate, it's Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Car's required between midday and midnight. Most people are turning up in the evening though due to work commitments so daytime cars are quite desperately needed. Also a few cars are need tomorrow (Monday) daytime.

There is a new film called Dolphins being released in cinemas next year. They are currently filming around the Brighton area. (Using my 300zx as a main car as some of you know :hyper: ) They have asked if I could help get some cars together for a 'cruise' type scene they are filming. Cars will be required Tueday and Wednesday and will need to be able to get to Newhaven/Brighton areas. I've watched a fair bit of the film develop over the last few weeks and it's looking pretty good and very professional. (People from Emmerdale and Lock Stock in it) If you want the full details send us a pm and I'll forward locations and times etc on.

Ah, yeah thats the Stacey. I know she knows a guy with the black Supra. I don't know them though, I haven't lived down this way long and soon to move back to south west. I'll have to check out the site.

M@1975. I see it says you drift in your profile. Do you have somewhere local you use? I have an s13 just for drifting, soon to have engine rebuilt now the big events are over then will be ready for a good spanking again.
