Ok folks, I've managed to sort a location for a big South East meet. We have chosen to do a Bolney type meet as this has been cancelled this year. (We are not however trying to replace the Bolney meet)

 

The location for the meet is:

The Plough Inn, London Road East, Pyecombe.

 

This is right next to the A23 on the way down to Brighton. The pub has agreed to let us use the area outside but want to keep the car park free for their usual business. Although people are welcome to use their facilities, menus and drinks etc.

The road outside is very quiet and has ample room to park alongside the road and on the verges for lots of motors!

I will try and organise for a burger van to be down there aswell on the day.

 

The meet will be held on 24th June starting at 13.30.

Im up for this, not that far to travel, hopefully my bloody engine will be done by then. but its looking better everyday.

It's the same day as Japshow at Pod or the chavvy Fast and furious jobbie in Brighton. :)

well the weather was horrendous yesterday...rained from 6am solid till @ 7pm...needless to say i didnt go along...did anyone here actually go to this meet??

I did. There were 6 of us that went in a convoy from Portsmouth, got there at just after 1 and stayed until about 2.30ish. There were a few others there (no zeds, what a shock eh!!!!!) but I'm not surprised with the pants weather. It got me out of the house for the afternoon and gave the zed a chance to stretch her legs a bit.
