  1. I am, but I'm using a donor shell and putting as much silver machine parts on as possible
  2. Good work there!!! but you can't call it phoenix, that's my car name! Mine is also from a similar styled crash, but I'm Going the other way and using as much of the crashed shell on a newbody
  3. I got an apexi air filer, good bit of kit. Don't know about performance as I also did a boost controller and ecu change. Decatts are a can of worms. I did mine and love it, but some say that it will make your tubs seal leak, I think that if that's gonna happen then its gonna happen anyway, just might last a bit longer if you hadn't decatted
  4. Yes, there's another thread running at the mo, by the time you get new bulbs for that kit you coulbe spend a few £ more and get a new 55w set
  5. So 0-60, would that take it down to 4.5 seconds or 4 seconds? As the other basic mods tke it down to about 5 seconds don't they?
  6. You could just buy a full need set for the car that would come with the slim units and be an easy fit for about £20
  7. Different fitting codes are for bulb length and fittment, might be lucky and the fit or might not, if theres no fitment code you'll.just have to try. You want h7 if I remember correctly, but it's been a while so I could be wrong. Wiring is easy, it will be the fitment the might be the problem
  8. What bulb fitting are they? If they are the right fitment, it's an easy job
  9. Probably not anything this year, loads of crap to sort out. I thought the adjusted with the red band, is there other adjustments you can make too, I need a working z just to try
  10. Why did you want the nut off?
  11. Oh forgot to mention..... Can of worms LOL
  12. Who's gonna notice a couple of tenths of seconds in the real world? But who is gonna notice the noise? Everyone I used apexi ones on my silver z, loved them will be putting them on my new one when finished What type are apexi?
  13. Have you tried t-cutting it, looks like most of it will buff out Seriously though good luck with the rebuild
  14. Think he has the na setup looking at opening post
  15. You, as you were talking about lock up kits. I have an na subframe but I'm in two minds whether to fit it or not? I like the sound of loading a bit top end to gain acceleration, but am not sure how the car will handle after
  16. Sorry to thread jump, but is there any reason your not going down the na subframe route?
  17. Don't know the area much to be honest
  18. Sorry Eastbourne. I'm in over lol Stanstead meet is always good
  19. I'm about most evening and every other weekend, the other weekend I'm in east Bourne area. Anyone else up for a meet?
  20. Anyone's welcome to pop over mine anytime, this thread looks like it's gonna take as long as my car to sort
  21. I cant imagine anyone taking si to seriously to the point that they'll leave. Everyone knows his views on stuff and what he's like. I have always found him very helpful and fun
  22. Spraying is mainly in the prep. Spend the time doing that. Gloss black will show any imperfections in the spoiler, and dips will need filling and smoothing, when you smooth do it to a large area rather that just a finger as it will give an even finish
  23. £5 and I'll pick her up at the weekend
  24. No, it's an in house colour that should be the same as bumble bee out of thransformers, the new car
  25. So the plastic coating is atually needed, in which case I will keep a rubber coating on them
