Venting Recircs to Atmosphere??Possible?
Hi All I saw a silver 96 Zed today in eastleigh Hampshire so i pulled in and had a chat to the Driver.. We had an interesting chat about the Zeds and what mods have been done.. I was amazed to have been told that one of the mods to his Zed was instead of Spending loads of cash on Bovs!! he has had his recircs Venting to the atmosphere instead of to the intake pipe???? I was amazed and confused about this...he did not show me of course but assured me they make the same simular noise as aftermarket Bovs but not as loud and irritating?? And do the same job... Is this possible? I know in theary they could work as i understand how the recircs do there job, but they have no baffle/outlet/cone?

Replacing condensor (Air Conditioner)
Hi All i cant remember if you have to take out the radiator to change the condensor or if you can get it out through the headlight centre panel after removing the airfilter and MAS?( avoiding Rad Removal?)

My Dark Blue Pearl Z32??
Mine has been respayed the wrong colour as i found out when i ordered a litre of TH1 and sprayed my bumpers and tailgate after smoothing out. My car had been sprayed between TH1 and Tk3 for some reason.. :( which means the newly painted panels really show...

My Dark Blue Pearl Z32??
Hi all i Own a z32 in the Jap import colour TH1 which is Nissan Dark blue Pearl..Which is alot Darker than the U.K. Spec Mineral blue Metalic TK3... I don't know if many of you have seen this colour but I wanted to ask your Opinion on the Colour of my Zed as i am thinking of changing colour... I dont want to make any drastic decision's until i get some view's on my standard colour at the moment... So have a look at my ride's section if you have not seen this colour before and let me know what you think and any recommendation's to what colours that make the zed look good and stand out! i think my zed looks really dull and too dark..doesnt seem to show its curves and lines well with this colour.. What do you think?? ;)

Crankshaft sprocket removal
Try giving it a tap from the back or side but dont tap it too hard.. It should come loose on the vg30 engines the crankshaft to sprocket are just interference fit....so a few light taps should do it then just slide it off.... If you were close to me i'd remove it for you.... ;)

Crankshaft sprocket removal
Hi Mate .. Normally you would use a bearing/hub puller but sometimes a little tap and they come off easy, just try not to loose the woodruff key in the end of the crankshaft..... ;)

Auto transmission problems
I am not attacking i am pointing out that (i) myself have rebuilt a few of these boxes and they have all had the same symptoms and i have successfully repaired them through my own mechanical knowlege and with no come backs.... Not to be funny but the advice you are giving is from your experiance of rebuilding Zed automatic gearboxes??? I would never critisize another mechanic or tell them how to do there job so what place have you to critisize me??? I am helping people with my Mechanical experiance and unless you have rebuilt these boxes yourself you should not tell i am wrong or critisize me i hate it when people who themselves have no mechanical knowlege critisize me... So far your posts have been telling me i am wrong and if you want to give advice give it to the person concerned do not direct it at me unless you have rebuilt these gearboxes yourself... The End

Auto transmission problems
Mate dont take this the wrong way But i am a fully Qualified mechanic and have worked on Quite a few Z32's and through experiance have found that the most common fault on these zeds with the automatic gearbox expecially the Jap imports is that the 3rd-4th overdrive brake band fail's due to overHeating of the Autotransmission Fluid..Not the (Clutch Packs) Unless they have done Very high mileage... The Brake band always Fails Before the Clutch packs resulting in contaminated Brownish oil with metal particles from the drum and Band Rivets... The clutch packs can often be good for around 100-120 thousand miles sometimes the life of the car...the Brake band 30 thousand or so without an upgraded oil cooler if driven hard and more than double that if fitted with an aftermarket oil cooler unless its UK spec... Obviously The person concerned is looking for advice on what to do with his Automatic Transmission on his Z32 and that what i am doing Giving him Advice From my own personal Experiance and thats what this forum is for to Help Others.
