fog light questions
Thanks everyone.........I will use the blue illuminated switch for the time being. Maybe Paul C can comment on the colour and the placement of the switch. Also, can it be wired up in such a way that it can be switched on when the sidelights are on, or does it have to be wired up so that it can only come on when the headlights are on. A schematic diagram I have seen shows the switch taking power from the the sidelight circuit, which makes connecting it up a lot easier. Thanks John

fog light questions
Can someone tell me: a) Is converting inner brake lights M.O.T. complient ? b) Does the illuminated switch for the fogs have to be on the dash (as oposed to somewhere else, like the centre console) and does it have to be red in colour to pass the M.O.T. ? Thanks John

Fuel blockade
Has anyone heard about the fuel blockade that was going to go ahead this weekend? I have not seen any updates on it. I saw somewhere that they were planning to blockade the BP Terminal in the Wirral. John

Is that dealer (Aria) not very reputable and should be stayed away from ? I would like to know, I occassionally look at his stock and dont want to buy from him if he sell dodgy cars. Cheers John

autobox switch
Is there some kind of switch that is actuated when you press the brake pedal that allows you to take it out of park ? Where abouts is it ? Sometimes I have to use the red over-ride lever. Thanks John

drip drip drip
I tried quite a few, the one that finally worked was a bit messy, but I was sick and tired of getting a wet arse and shoulder while I was driving, and putting a bin bag over the seats at night,(I drive my zed daily, and use it for going to work. Most products I tried either did not set up (very thin like "seek and seal" or too thick, like silicone. I finally used a bitumen spray called "Isoflex" from B & Q, but as I have said earlier, you should not need it anywhere else but for the straight rubber targa seal. It is messy, but the surplus cleans off the paintwork with that engine degreaser spray stuff. John

I wish you good luck mate, but from everyone I have spoke with fitting new rubbers usually does not cure the leak, they simply dont go back the way the factory ones were fitted. One guy on this forum bought an entire set from Courtesy in Texas, cost about $500, and still they leaked. I have spent about £200, and only last week got the car watertight with the help of stuff in a spray can. John

roof leak
Sounds like someone has overdid it with the mastic. I think also the plastic type blade that is attached to the channel that the rubber sits in needs to be tight (and sealed to) the targa John
