  1. Its not that one, as that one is advertiesed with a radio ;)
  2. http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=737844 This link is for converting a NA engine to TT. I think it would be a good start. You are not converting a NA to a TT, but it will probably answer a lot of your questions as its more than just putting on turbos. Topless (person's username) has done just this with a convertable, so he is better off answering any questions you have. You can keep the rear diff. Infact many people swap the TT rear diff for a NA diff. The drive shaft depends on if you use the NA gearbox, which I dont think you should. There are people who can help you more on here, but the link should give you some reading.
  3. How much power do you have? 265 rear 235 front is popular as you can get 265 tyres on (With the correct wheels) with out modifying the wheel arch. I I know of 1 with 275 but I think they are very close to having the sticking out too far. you can get a wide arch kit and then you can go huge widths like below I have 245 on the fronts because that is what came with the wheels I bought, and it makes the handling worse I think. Very twitchy and tramlines, but this could be due to bad tracking. I plan on having 235 on the front though.
  4. I bet a Z could reach 200mph. You will need a gearbox change but you will with virtually all cars to reach that speed.
  5. How did you get yours on a classic policy? I looked at their site and it says they only do classics for 1983 and older.
  6. How much you paying mate? I think Chaucer was the company who underwritten the company I was going to be with. But I will give them a try.
  7. Do you have any contact details?
  8. I need some insurance companies I can contact for quotes. The company who I got a quote with a while ago ready for when the car was ready, said they cant find my quote and not wont insure me now. So I need alternatives. Stuart
  9. The modem reset itself last night and I suspected that it was Blueyonder doing the upgrades. I tried 3 broadband speed test sites, one said I had a 1Mb connection one said 1.3 and the other 1.4. I actually struggled to find a download site where I could get a file to test it. I got one in the end and got download speeds of close. I downloaded Adobe at 240Kb/s which means it has been upgraded :D But after struggling to find a download which would put the connection to its full speed, is having fast internet really worth it for 95% of the time, considering most downloads wont send it to you that fast, and in many cases you will need 4 or 5 downloads at once to get a full speed download. Stuart
  10. http://www.japshow.com/japshow/pictures/DSCF0154_JPG.html Is this Senna's old car?
  11. Sorry to hear. That is one reason why I got traction control on mine. In weather like this you can tiptoe and still slip. :(

  15. I would rather have the Galant VR4, if you go mitubishi.
  16. I agree, The (!) icon is the handbrake light, but usually lights up when you are driving when the brake fluid is low.
  17. Al, just showed the misses some of your stuff. :D She loved it, Wont be able to get any for Xmas but give us a shout when its getting close to the dead line for Valentines. :D
  18. I dont think they would use them if they where not good.
  19. Compromotive? I would say most of amature rally drivers use compromotives.
  20. I cleared the lens by taking the dip bulb out and then turining on the main beam for 30 mins or so. I looked at the master cylinder, and one of the lines seemed to be leaking where it screwed into it. I tightened it up a little and now it seems to have stopped. Retest tomorrow at 10am :D
  21. YEah its virtually next door ;)

Generally I would say that affiliates get a percentage of any custom they get from this site and traders pay to advertise. This is how I would see it.
  23. I thought this was going to be an extract from going for gold ;)
  24. Apparently plasma screens only last 2-3 years, after that the quality starts to go down hill quickly. I have never been a huge fan of plasma screens, they look good from a distance, but when you get clost, they are terrible.

I am a little confused as to which wheels will be on the car. From a distance, they are 5 spoke but on the close up, they are nine spoke.
