Apparently the screw at the top of the speedo dial is to change the calibration. I have never done it. I think people in AUZ and NZ use that to change their dials from 190kph to 300kph ones.

I find that having the pump at 11 oclock (so its nearly upside down) works the best. yes the tank cap is meant to hiss when it is unscrewed. If it doesnt it does imply there is a leak some where.
