I heard you have to buy the whole assembly. But I think I am in the same predicament as Andy. I only need the joint at the end, and not the whole structure. I dont have HICAS so wont need it all.

It sounds like the part I went an asked for. Part Number 55114 39F00 £55.70+VAT This is the part which attaches the HICAS arm to the wheel hub and where the tracking is done too. That is for the left side (Passenger Side) one.

That is why I hate MACs. The OS is terrible. FFS they dont have a button to take the floppy disk out. You have to boot the fecker up and eject it using a menu bar. :@ Its like having to start your engine up and fiddle with you wind screen wipers to get your door open. :confused:

I am sure there are over 500 people in this world who want a titanium key. I would have another one :D The price is in Austrailian $ so $100 the asking price, is about £40. BARGIN!!!! Considering I have seen them go on ebay for over £150 because there are none left, and I have heard stories that some of those not fitting as they where too wide or something. These will be Nissan OEM ones. :D :D :D :D Come on I know there are loads of people on here who are missing the titainium key, or are missing one. If you are missing it, you are midding a one of the smaller but great parts of owning a Z. People are amazed when I show them the key and they feel how light it is. My understanding is limited about the Skyline, but I thought that the V Spec had larger brakes. I thought I remember seeing this information on gtr.co.uk site.

Is yours a UK Z? I know they want a tracker on Jap ones, but do Tesco want them on UK one too? RAC Tracker and Tracker have advantages and disadvantages. RAC use GPS to track the cars, and any one with a GPS system will know they dont work if their is no clear view of the sky. So it wont be detected in a garage, under bridge or even if you are driving down a road with trees over head. Tracker use moblie phone signals from to track. This will work through walls an such but some parts of the country still dont have moblie cover, but only a few very remote places in the mountains. Its up to you which you get. Stuart

The water pump could lose efficiency. Have you tried a simple flush out of the cooling system and fill it completely with fresh water and coolent? I read some where that antifreeze and engine coolent when when it gets old actually makes things worse. Stuart

No offence but you really should get your tracking done every time you get new tyres. Its all well and good getting a lazer allignment but 80% of the time its only the front ones which get done, so any problem with the rear will go un-noticed. I goto a place in Bolton which do 4 wheel lazer allignment which checks, toe, cambre and caster of all 4 wheels. I drive 20 miles there now just to get the tracking done dispite driving past probably 50 tyre places on the way. Only once have they had to change the rear wheel settings, but its worth traveling for and paying the extra. Stuart

Turbo failure will cause oil to leak and the smoke would be blue/black and not white. White smoke is usually water. I would guess that the head gasket is going and leaking. Also saying that, I have heard from sources that decatting will cause the exhaust to smoke as the engine is over fueling.
