I was looking at the JWT 500 Sport turbos. As far as I know they are the stock ones which have had the internals improved. Am I right? Anyway these where going to cost me over a grand for the turbos, which is acceptable but not exactly cheap. However! I have been given a phone number of some one in the UK who rebuilds turbos. I phoned him and he knows what he is talking about. He knew what turbos where on a 300ZX anyway and said that I would need new oil feeder lines. Anyway, to rebuild my turbos with 360 Degree BB, Air Cooled and Step Gaps (Or could be Stop Gaps) works out to be £400 cheaper than the JWT and that is before I add any tax and shipping of my turbos back and new turbos here onto the price too. Plus JWT 500 are not BB are they? This guy seemed to know his stuff and didnt sound like he was trying to con me. He basically explained that there is little he can do to the turbos just make them really strong with the strongest parts he can get. I have seen some sites say they ground out the housing to make it take a larger wheel. I dont like the sound of that. What do you guys thing? By the sounds of it this guy does the same thing that JWT does to the 500Sport. Just makes them very strong, and for that much cheaper should I give him a try? He has come very very highly recommended by people who race cars so I believe he is capable. What are your thoughs on this? Would you go with him? Stuart

Is this the stock gauge? There is an adjusting screw on the dial itself which changes the scale of it. May be its been moved. Stuart

To rewrite to a CD you have to buy CD-RW (Re-Writable) To make a CD which will work on a MP3 player, just make a normal data CD and copy the tracks you want onto it. To change the titles and artists of the track, use Winamp. Load the files you want into Winamp and then right click on the one file you wish edit the name of in the Winamp play list and select "view file info" or something like that. A screen will come up with the information on. You can change it there if you wish. If the files already have the information stored on it, just copy them to a CD as the information about the song is stored on the song file itself. Your MP3 player will read the information when you put the CD in. That is why it takes a min or 2 before you can listen to the songs. Stuart

Is the Rad Cap Ok? Sometimes when they leak they cause over heating.

Are you losing water? Is there white stuff in the water?

From what I have heard, to actually take the head off you have to take the engine out. I have read about people changing the gaskets with the engine in, but I dont think you can take the head off all the way from one side. People just lift it and then put the gasket on. Stuart

Its been a while since a North West meeting. I think there was one in Chester but it was a little close to Xmas and not many people could make it. Location I was thinking of a pub called Royal Oak which is right on the East Lancs (East Lancashire Road A580) going towards Liverpool. It should be a good location as it is easy to get to for the people from the Manchester way and Liverpool way as the East Lancs goes between the two cities ;) Also the M6 Junction 23 pulls off onto the East Lancs. So directions would be, come off at Junction 23 and then head towards Liverpool and its on your left after 5 miles or so. No back roads, the pub is on the East Lancs. I was thinking of having it in mid Febuary which gives about a months notice for people to finish cars and such ;) Another (unofficial) reason for this location is the East Lancs is a dual carrage way national speed limit. If any ones feels the need to............ you know. Is any one up for this? Post your thoughts Stuart

I am sure there are other people who experience this too. We have all mis-typed out an internet address, like put 300zx.co.ku or something. But why do these typo web addresses stay at the top of the list when I drop the address bar? When I start typing in 300ZX.co.uk the box shows the best fitting ones, but for some reason the bad ones are always at the top. So instead of suggesting 300zx.co.uk, I get a list of typoed ones which it could be. 300z.co.uk 300zx.couk. When do these things ever go from the list. :mad: ;) Stuart

Plus the fact if the race was longer the 300ZX would have pulled further ahead going off the fact it came from behind and was pulling infront all the time It won by 2 cars lenghts in the end.

I thought they where Ford V8 or Land Rover ones or something. There is a strange rule if you put so many into a car a year, you can class it as your own. Stuart
