Old 4 Star used to be 98-100 Ron that is why some people used it but you had to advance the timing to run it safely. Japanese Imported Zs are designed to run on 100ron which is what they have in Japan. There is no real harm running 95 if the car isnt thrashed. 98 or Optimax will make the car run better and is safer for when you thrash the car a little.

I have a few but its growing way to fast to keep up, plus its not the fastest thing in the world. I have downloaded a video of the History Channel about the Z series. Not too much info about the 300 but very interesting about how the Zs where born. Has any one had any experience with these? They are GPS things for the dash. Colour screen and works out the route you should take. Some dont do that but this does. The reason I am asking because I was in Costco a few months ago and there where on sale for £750. I looked on the internet and the cheapest I saw them was £1000. I went to Costco today and there where selling them now for £550. It has to be worth it for that. Has any one used them? It would have come in handy when I went on holiday this last year. Stuart

I have taken that into account too. I dont know what his policy is on a matter like that, but his attitude is you dont skimp on the cost of rebuilding the turbos as it could just cause them to fail later on. But I am fitting the turbos my self. So if some company does offer to pay for the replacement of bad turbos and asks for the invoice for the cost of changing them, I cant show. Plus they could say they where incorrectly installed. I am in no way implying that about you, Smithy, but you can see my prediciment. Stuart.

The problem with 6 pot is the pads tend to be huge and cost a lot. Plus the master cylinder may not be up to it. Stuart

Yep you got it. CD-RW wont last forever. Every time you re-write to them they will damage them. But I think it is something like re-writing on them 1000 times before they become unusable.

Most CD writing software just need updates to work with DVD Data.

The thing is the 530 BB turbos are $3000 or so. Which after tax and shipping your turbos back and forth, the final cost will be close to £2000. The Sport 500 are not BB but the ones I have been quoted are BB. What do the BB do? Make it stronger? Or does it mean it can spool up quicker and spin faster?
