  1. Thanks chaps, very much appreciated  Always happy for the advise. Will have another shot at it on Wednesday night, and see how I can improve on it. I have no idea why, as all three were done the same way, but i've an idea as to what to do here :D No, not at all, thanks very much for that, it looks great :D
  2. Here you go (God that took some bloody finding, loads of broken links :wack: ) Link It's not the best pic I've seen, but it gives you the idea, Oh! and YES the centre panel WILL fit over the top of it :D As for wiring, hmmmm not sure yet, untill I take mine apart, also over xmas :D Anyway HTH
  3. Mr P, if you have an Induction filter, you could relocate your PTU to near there. I've seen this mod on a few of the US sites, and it looks quite a good place, infact thats where I'm going to relocate mine to, now I've just brought my Apexi :D I'll have a look for a link or two.
  4. It was a comprimise, to find a decent colour that didn't clash with everything, something I could improve on :D
  5. Yeah thanks guys, the only one that seems not to be working now is the one for Picture Three  can't think why it shouldn't be working if the others are, it works in Web Preview. Well anyway it is only version 1.0, lol So I'll improve on it as I get more used to it. Thanks for taking a look
  6. pmsl, yeah sorry Steve, I was having a play with it :smash: and deleted it, I've put it back now :D
  7. I've decided to give it a go and re-vamp my rides section, to make it into one of those where you open to a full web type page instead of the individual links. Well attempt number one is up, and although I cant seem to work out how to get the hyperlinks to work properly, it looks OK. I've produced it in MS FrontPage, and have uploaded the Index and various pages, but the links just dont work  Any IT tech'y types who know what I'm on about, and can help? Would be much appreciated, thanks
  8. TBH it's a little tricky to say, I could say that it's not quite what I expected, but then on the other hand it isn't real wood, so what did I expect? Everyone who has been in the car so far has said how nice it looks, but then I supose they arnt going to say it looks :hurl: are they? ;) (sorry just been trying to find the excuse to use that smilie :D) They look quite good, but I'm sure the process to produce them doesn't coast anywhere near that much, if you know what I mean (and no I don't mean they look cheap either) Once you order one and receive it, as long as you haven't used it or had a special order one, then you can return it and get your money back if your not satisfied. Worth a thought.
  9. No prob mate :D Hope it didn't take too long to download :D
  10. Thanks, well mine is a '92, so I beleive that makes it a series 1, which is what Pete's is, so that should be OK then :D
  11. If this is any help Scott, have a look at this thread and go towards the bottom of page two. OK it's not the Brushed alloy, or the mirror SS like Vinz's, but it is of the same quality, as it's from the same place. HTH
  12. Now I'm not wanting to take any business away from any trader on here, but what Dave does is this priced at £90. Now the work involved is cutting and splicing to have these fitted. But the link above is for the plastic caps. Now all that is required is to remove the pins from you old broken cap and replace them into these new caps, and job done, all of about 10 to 20 mins. All for $54, now add to that an estimated $15 for shipping, and that works out at £36. A bit of a saveing. Now these would only be of use if you pins are in good order, and not all 'manky' aswell, in which case I'd recomend PHNW for the full repair kit. Hope that clears up what I was trying to say.
  13. Not sure when I'll be able to make another one, would be nice in the new year, depends how many problems I come up with on the engine work :headvswal But saying that it wont be going anywhere untill ALL the work that is lined up has been completed. Hopefully that should all be done at the same time.
  14. Yeah it's defo the AirCon Amp modual, it's in the service book, and is the caurse of my fault of not having any display on the AirCon pod on the dash. Apparentley its somewhere behind the centre panel in the drivers footwell, but I've not seen it yet. :ttiwwop: pmsl :D
  15. Looking nice Vinz mate, but you're gona need shades on every time you drive it now  :D
  16. Cheers Andy mate   :duffer:
  17. All hail AndyP  the ZX clock god :D Robert I'd recomend Andy, top notch job on mine mate :nana2: Oh and Andy, I'll be sending my ECU off to you after xmas (new year ;)) if thats still OK?
  18. Well spotted Yas, I hadn't noticed myself, but then this is the first time I've seen the pics properly, and I still haven't looked all that well ;) BTW, sorry but SgtC's interior looks bright red, but it's more of a burgandy then that, must have been the flash :D And I want it :D :nana2:
  19. Nope, sorry I didn't take any pics of my work. and I think Mattys are only after he'd finished (but I could be wrong)
  20. And finally....
  21. As promised, I've just finished PhotoShoping them :D As I said before, if anyone wants them give me a shout and I'll either put them on a cd (if you want a few) or e-mail them to you :D Shame it was rather dark on the day, as they haven't come out all that good, especially the later ones. Incidentley the originals are twice this size, and better quality. Enjoy anyway.....
  22. Just found this link on 300zxclub.com for the coil pack connectors, not the loom, but just the plastic connector itself. Looks like it could be very usefull to anyone with just a broken connector, who doesnt want to have to do a splice. I've just sent them an e-mail requesting a cost of shipping to the UK, will let you know what happeneds. http://300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=43846
  23. Over the xmas break I'm gona start the cam belt change, with a full 60K service kit (belts, water pump and tensioner). I've got the link off TT.net that shows the procedure, but was wondering if anyone has any tips on what to/what not to do? All help would be greatly appreciated. I'm also splicing in new injector, ECU temp sender and PTU connectors, but dont envisage any problems with this part of it. Thanks in advance  :hyper:
