Ptu.............
Mickey, I've noticed on quite a few US Zed's that they seem to favour putting it somewhere under the lights centre panel, but this seems to work best if you have and induction kit. This is where I'm moving mine to over the xmas hols :D Incidentley, if your's is a series 2, then there shouldn't be a problem anyway, as the heat only affects the series 1, or so I'm told ;) But I'm moving me series 2 anyway, as I'm having my cam covers painted, and want it out of the way :D HTH

January 2005 meet
Hmmmmmmm Newark............... sounds like a great idea :D Only 13 miles away from me :D So we've heard, but what about the meet?  :D TBH I probably wont be able to attend this one, as I'm looking after the kids that weekend (as they'd get board too easily  ) and that's about the time the Zed will be in the bodyshop haveing the spray work done, but we'll see.

Urgent JAE05 moved
This sounds like a great idea to me ;) but then I'm only a short drive up the A1 from there. The venue is quite big, with very good access straight off the A1. I've been there a number of times for various shows etc, and do beleive it's a good place. Now a joint meet at Billing would still be a good idea if it comes off. Either way I'll defo be there at JAE2005 :D after all I've gota show off all my new work ;) :nana2:  :nana2:  :nana2:

My New '99 JSpec Front Bumper Is Here!
After a long a crappy drive down to pick it up yesterday, it's finally on my patio tonight :D It's complete with the '99 indicators and metal brackets. Although after doing a little reserch I've discovered that the intercooler ducts will require 'altering' to allow the new bumper to fit. For anyone interested in fitting their own one, take a look here at speedyzx's site detailing the work he's done over in the USA, and a very nice job it looks aswell :D  Alas found out on Wednesday that my bodyshop cant do the spray work for me untill the middle of January , but at least that gives me a little more time to do all the other work first. And yes I know that my patio is a mess :D

Splicing in new injector / ignition connectors
Ooppssss! Forgot to answer the question :D YES they will both require to be spliced. You might consider the ECU Temp sender plug aswell.

Splicing in new injector / ignition connectors
Give DaveC (PetrolHeads NW, in the traders section) a shout, he keeps these instock. I personally wouldn't use Courtesy Nissan, as it can work out quite expensive on the import duty, as they use UPS, and you will DEFO get charged the full rate. An other alternative would be Concept Z Performance who are also over in the states, but are very friendly towards import duty ;)

Smashed Z - anyone's here?
By the way the FOS wing is damaged, I'd say it's gone under the back end of a lorry! Give away is how everything has been pushed back, except the wing which has been scrapped back with something solid, ie; the rear end protection/anti submarineing bars that all lorries have these days. Thats a tailgate skin, available from the ZCentre.

Coil Pack Connector Replacements....
Thanks Dave for that, looks like a good deal if you're starting from scratch, but I've already got some of the stuff, so I'd end up buy some bits twice over. Right I've received an e-mail back from the guy (yesterday), and all in he said it would be $62.85 shipped to the UK.

NZR - My PC Monitor Screen Is Too Dark??!!
Cheers bud. Just never crossed my mind that any of this could be caursing the wavy line thing :slap:

NZR - My PC Monitor Screen Is Too Dark??!!
TBH I've got loads of 'stuff' near the monitor and always have had, except that I've recently got a new printer. It's in the same place as the old one and is about 2 1/2 feet away from the monitor. The anti-suge trailing socket is directly behind the monitor, with a mobile phone charger plugged in. The PC is underneath the monitor along with my broadband modem. Above the monitor is a TV and video/DVD combi which is a fairly recent addition.

NZR - My PC Monitor Screen Is Too Dark??!!
Thanks for the replies guys, much appreciated. Hmmmmmmmm think I'll have to put up with it for a while longer yet, as I'd much rather spend time and money on the Zed anyway :D Ultimate answer is that I want a 19" flat panel monitor, but those sort of funds just can not be justified yet, the Zed is much more wanting ;)

front bumper needed....
I will have in the new year. It has a split on the passenger lower front side (normal place) but with a re-inforcing bar and some Stucko (prob spelt wrong  ) it would be a simple repair for any body shop. It's currently in Cherry Red Pearl..................... Oh and would come with the JSpec corner lights.

Does PTU2 fit old PTU1 connectors
My point in moving my series 2, would simply be for bling reasons :D As I'm having my cam covers painted, so I want as little as possible in the way

For anyone about to do a Cam Belt change

NZR - My PC Monitor Screen Is Too Dark??!!
OK, lets get the 'funnies' out of the way first, " Well turn up the brightness" and "Take off your shades" :p :nana2: Right, my settings are set to maximum, and I mean MAX!!! But it still is a lot darker then the one I'm on at the moment at work. There is also a very, very slight 'ripple' going up the screen all the time  Anyone with an idea as to what is wrong with it, or is it time to call it a day and buy a new one? TIA

Coil Pack Connector Replacements....
Sorry Scott, but I missed this reply last night :slap: Well I was going to, but I've not had a reply yet  Unless the guy never received my e-mail, which considering that I sent it from here at work, and our system is sh1te wouldn't suprise me :x: If I hear anything, I'll let you know.
