  1. Thanks Paul, very helpfull mate. :duffer: If the weather is good this weekend, i'll have a look at that :D
  2. I used mine when I first got the car, had it set at 90mph on the motorway :D so no problems there ;) But tbh, cruise is a little pointless in this country (IMHO) as you just get cruising for a mile or so, and some tw@'ll pull out infront of you and you're back to square one agian!
  3. Is that the same wiring for a Jap spec? As I'm not aware of a dimmer relay on these.
  4. Peter'boro sounds good to me, although I'll probably be coming from Leicester :D So sounds like a convouy along the A47 :D
  5. Dave, I was with these last year, and they did me a really good deal. But this year on renewal, they were almost £200 more expensive than Houghtons!!!! And that was limited use to 5000 miles, as a second car, to include S,D & P (with travel to work). I requested exactley the same specs from both companies and in the end I went with Houghtons, as it was a better deal. But at the end of the day it's down to where you live, your age, your job, etc. So it's always good to give them all a call :D
  6. Well done Dave, it's nice when it's something simple :D
  7. Before I went on holiday, I got hold of a new PC program called MGI Photo Vista. Basically it will stitch together a series of photo's, to make one long panoramic picture. I tried this out with some specific photo's I took in Egypt, and they have turned out very well indeed. Having looked through some of the pics from the recent weekends meets, I was thinking that if anyone wants a full picture of a particular line-up, then give me a shout. The only specs are, that the photo's must overlap each over (so that the programm will line them up), and that they were taken from the same spot. If anyone is interested, please PM me, and then I'll sort somthing out. Once I have the original photo's I can then 'Stitch' them together, and return the full panoramic picture to you. I'll also do other scenes aswell if you require. PLEASE NOTE *** This is open to Subscribed members ONLY.
  8. I've been reading through the English version of the Falcon Jap site, and have come across this link for the ideal lighting patern for HID's. The problem I have is that it wont let me register to find out how to do it. So does anyone know how this lighting patern is achived? Apparentley keeping the HID's on while flashing, will increase the life expectancy of them, so this could be of interest to all who have them fitted.
  9. John, Just to clarify, I take it this is a Nissan V8, and your gona shoehorn it into you Zed's engine bay, similar (or the same) as Leigh will be doing? Sorry for the dumb question, but thought I had to ask :D
  10. Theres not enough guages inside for my liking ;) :D
  11. Thanks chaps, much appreciated. :duffer:
  12. I'm looking into buying a DVD burner drive for my pc, but I'm a little confused as to what all the different types are. For example, what does this little lot mean?...... CD-ROM....... I know that one CD-R........... ? CD-RW......... ? DVD-ROM..... I know this one DVD-R.......... ? DVD-RW........ ? DVD+RW........ ? DVD+R.......... ? DVD+R DL ..... ? All the +'s and -'s confuse me. TIA
  13. The guy with the 'Lump' on his head is exactly how my boy looked when he fell over in Menorca a few years back. He was running, tripped and hit his head, it came out about an inch, or so, instantley!!!!!! he seemed fine, and spent the rest of the evening sat on my knee with an ice pack on his forehead!!! :D Not seen the one of the nail in the eye before though, but seen the rest, they look very painfull
  14. I've used CZP in the US, they were very good, and the shipping wasn't too bad (considering how much it weighed) I didn't pay import duty on the items. But I'm informed (and this is why I didn't use Courtesy) that the shipping cost from Courtesy is high to the UK, and they use UPS, which defo charge import duty, because they use there own vans/people to bring it to your door, and charge it accordingly (so be warned people ;) ) CZP use US Postal service over there, and Royal Mail Worldwide over here, so you could loose the duty payment. But I do agree that we do get ripped of for a lot of stuff over here in the UK.
  15. Or is it a case that, as the US has so many zeds running around, in a much bigger country, that they can afford to import a hell of a lot more stock in from Japan than we can in the UK?? It wouldn't even surprise me if there was a Nissan factory in the US producing these spare parts. So, therefore, the stock requirements in this country do not permit the ordering of vast quantities in order to make a much better price for the customer. The likes of the ZCentre have to pay a price for a small quantity, + import duty, + VAT, this cost has to be passed onto the customer. Oh! And don't forget that you have to pay import duty when you order stuff from the US aswell. Example..... For one windscreen pillar trim.... From ZCentre £34.08 (Inc VAT) + P&P From Courtesyparts £25.08 + Shipping (which is expensive from them) + Import Duty + VAT Now which one is cheaper?
  16. Sorry mate, if it's a table it's probably made up of different pieces, so you probably cant do it. Just tray to click somewhere on the slide, if only a small section is highlighted, then I don't think you can alter it, without doing everything separatly.
  17. Image on slide....... Click image on slide (eight dots appear, one in each corner of pic) Off the top center dot, a stem with a green dot will be seen Turn image with this green dot. Changing slide........ Click 'File' on top toolbar, Click 'Page Setup', Click 'Orientation' for Landscape or portrait. HTH
  18. Do you mean an image on a slide, or the slide itself?
  19. Defo at JAE, and JAPS at Thoesby Hall (Nth of Newark) Other than that, it depends on working and my kids, but will defo try to make it to some more.
  20. Good to hear bud. This is going to look some nice peice of kit when it's all together. Are you bringing it to JAE at Peter'boro? No problem to me mate, go ahead, just make sure that it's not one that shows how messy my patio is :D
  21. Richard, have you got that bloody spoiler on yet???? ;) Or are you still spending money on other bits for it :D Come on, you haven't got much more time before show season!!
  22. Looks like you all had a good time :D Sorry I couldn't make it to this one, hopefully next time (especially that my cars running properly now ;) )
