Stats on 300zx's for sale on Autotrader...
Cheapest Twin Turbo = £2500, but has a knock on the engine! Next there is a TT going for £2795 with only 30,000 miles!? At the other end of the scale are the convertibles ranging from £7990 to £11,995 But the most expensive T-Top is a 1996 (P) NA with 75k on the clock, with no mods, going for £7995??!! Why? OK it's clean, but not exactly low mileage, at 75K thats more than my 92 :D Then there is a guy trying to sell a 91 (H) with 130,000 on the clock, with a overhauled engine, for £7,500!

Who has a second car and a Diesel?
I run a 1.6 Zetec Escort, my daily drive is 20 miles door to door, so 40 miles per day. So thats, on the week, 200 miles + an extra trip (to Karens) 45 = 245 from £37 of unleaded (about 83.9 ppl) and I'm on 1/4 of a tank of fuel left!! Oh to run a diesel!! But I do agree that they are trying to fleece you now, just like they did with unleaded. I was reading on the US site, that someone was complaining about having to pay $2 per gallon!!!!!! and sonme were saying that they didn't even pay that!

Blisteze is what I've always used.... BUT it's only affective if you use it the very moment that you notice the 'tingle'.... ie first thing in a morning. All remidies are a total waste of time if you don't do something straight away. So sorry to say, but if you've already got the 'Corn Flake' on your lip, well you've got to sit it out!

Fao Mac 1....
I've just done some 'Poking' around on the net, and it could either be an age issue (mine being the older style) or it could be a country issue (Japan being different, maybe) Either way looking at pics of the type I have, and other peoples, and finding pics with the same set-up as with these additions, there is a different design to the fog lamp bar. My type has a much deeper back to it, so that it fits to the bodywork, and the other one is shallower to allow for this 'extra' part. So it looks like I've just answered my own question (with all your help  ) I don't have them, I've never had them, and it looks like I don't need them :D Again thanks for all your help.

Fao Mac 1....
Heres a pick taken when I was almost finished with the service work back in January... All that was left to go on was the new 99 spec bumper. So a few things come to mind here, 1st when I took the bumper off last year these 'Bumpers'/brackets were never there in the first place, 2nd I cant quite tell how they would fit with the fog lamp bar there as well, and 3rd there is a black plastic cover over the left hand hole but not one over the right hand hole  So this is starting to look like it's had a bump at some time and they've been left off! This could also explain why the cars has had a partial re-spray at some time, which caursed me a lot of trouble (and money) when I had the 99 one sprayed off the car :headvswal Thanks for your help guys, much appreciated

Iain, I've just seen your thread regarding your FMIC, and somthing struck me...(Hang-on, that was at work last week, when a 4 M pole fell on me head!! sorry I digress) Well you seem to have a large protruburance comeing out of the your front!!! ................Circled yellow in the pic ;) Well I don't seem to have one  So can you tell me what it's for, and do I need one, or why wouldn't I have one? (92 Jap Import) :duffer:

I hate computer users.
There are a lot of people who are given a job that, at some point, involves a computer, but they are never given any form of training on what is what or how to use it. There are blokes here who use the computers in this office who manage to **** things up on a regular basis! :slap: :headvswal :headvswal I've never received any PC training ever!!! I've learnt it all on the job, hence I'm not all that good at it ;)

Sun Load Sensor is on the windscreen vent cowl on the passenger side, a little round disc. It measures the temp at the windscreen and is part of the Air-Con system.

Not too sure on this one, but sounds like the Air-Con Amp isnt receiving a permanent +12v supply. Have a look through here and see if that helps. HTH

shame on midland members
I never say it was my opinion, but some will see it like that. But most wont respond to this thread!!!!

shame on midland members
Although I see where you're coming from, there are some other points to consider here........... 1) There is a much bigger percentage that DO NOT attend ANY shows whats so ever, than do attend them. But they have their reasons, and thats up to them. 2) The more shows that we have, the better it is as they are normally spread out across the country, that way people do not have to travel all that far for at least one show in the year. 3) **And this is in no way meant as dis-respectfull to Maxsunny** Some of these 'General' shows can be seen, to some, as a bit 'Chavish', and some wouldn't want to be associated (sp) with that fraternity! At the end of the day the more shows that we can attend, the better. And it is the midlands area that produces and attends the most shows anyway. All IMHO ;)
