  1. Appreciate that Mark  thanks bud. Once I know for sure I can get the time off work (gota book the time first) then I'll sort it properly.
  2. :hyper: :hyper: :nana2: :hyper: :hyper: As title, it's exactly three years today since I've owned Eliza, and I've loved EVERY minute of it! Never owned one before and she was the first one I took for a test drive ( :nono: I know) I purchased her from Chorley Nissan via an advert on AutoTrader.co.uk.... Yep, that's the exact picture I first saw of her, and NO I couldn't even enlarge it to see more clearly! So this is what she looked like when I got her home... Well she's changed a bit since then!!!!! I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank ALL the members past and present who have welcomed, helped and supported me in every aspect of owning the BEST car I've EVER owned!! Dave
  3. Well so far I've found a family room at the Travel Lodge, Kings Cross (Yes I'm aware of the area ;) ) for £70. So whats the prices like? They got a web address?
  4. No problem at all bud. Anything you're not sure of or can't find the answer to in a search, then simply ask away, I'm more than sure someone on here will be able to give you the answer :D Dave
  5. Looking really nice there  Yes it's a right PITA fitting the leather on isn't it? ;) Nice idea about swaping the side bolster over from a spare passenger seat.
  6. Hi Tiny, and welcome. The most usefully and important piece of info you can read is the Buyers Guide >> Here >> http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm Don't buy too cheap, if it's cheap then there is probably something wrong with it. Expect to pay at least £2500+ for a N/A and £3500+ for a TT. Make your mind up NOW, do you want a Twin Turbo (TT) or a Normally Aspirated (N/A) as if you really want a TT, then buy one. Because if you think you can only afford to run a N/A and so buy one, you WILL regret it later!! If you see what I mean ;) Always try to have someone with you that knows about them when you go to view one, asking on here if someone could do that for you will normally produce an offer from one of the members. Also a rule of thumb is never to buy the first one you go to see, try a few out. But I can't defo recommend that rule, as I bought the first one I test drove :D and I've always been happy with her. HTH Dave
  7. Thanks peeps :D  all appreciated. I'll have to see what funds permit, but I'm defo liking the FREE stuff!! I have been to London on a few occasions myself, with various females in the past ;) but never got to see all that much of London ;) I'll have to find a decent localised hotel and work out what they and myself would like to see down there. I did consider the Imperial War Museum, but then remembered that its on the South side over the Elephant & Castle area, so might be a bit far out, although I'm sure it's not too long a ride on the Underground. I'll have to see if i can find a map of interesting places to visit, so i can see everything at hand. Again, thanks for all the replies. Dave
  8. Oh yeah, defo the train. :D
  9. Your going to have to check with your owner manual for how to set up your network card. But using your LAN cable you can display what the WEP code is via the set-up screen, again you'll need your set-up instructions, this time for your router. HTH
  10. I'm thinking of taking my two little ones down to London in the Half Term Holiday, to visit The Science and The Natural History museums. Neither the kids nor myself have been before, so I'm sure we'll all have a good time :D One question though, do you think we could do both places in one day? Or do you think I should have a stop-over? TIA Dave
  11. FFS!!!! Just fooking typed this once  Bloody connection! Is the WEP sorted correctly? The wirless router will show as connected even though you wont be able to go on-line! HTH Dave
  12. I sure did :D Just nip into your local Nissan dealer and they either have one in stock or get it within a day or so. When fitting it, torque it up with a wheel nut to the proper torque, then do it again, then again, and when you put the wheel back on do it again, and check it the next day and do it again. Sounds obvious, but each time you do it, it will probably still tighten up more each time!!!!! Trust me, I watched my mechanic do it for me. Incidentally, it's easy to do yourself, I just used my mechanic as i thought it would be difficult, know I now I'd defo recommend doing it yourself. :D HTH
  13. Sounds more like food poisioning to me. Had this myself a few years back, just as you describe here. Some tw@gave me a cup of coffee with off milk!! :headvswal Took me out for about a day and a half! Hope your better soon bud ;)
  14. Simply, because I'm working :headvswal and I can't book any time off.
  15. Well I'm just going out in town with my mates, it should be fun. Probably staying in one place all night, as it'll be tricky moving around pubs. But it's the company you're with, not the location, that matters! And I've known these guys for absolutely years :D Surely you've got late-licence pubs in Leicester, or near to yourself? Why not just go to one of those rather than a night-club. Either way, have a good one bud ;)
  16. This is looking like a really good turn out, shame I'm gona miss it :(
  17. Although I totally agree with you that I should and they'd look great on Eliza! I can't :( if I'd seen them two months ago I'd of gone for it, but as I'm in the process of buying my new place I simply can't justify spending something in the region of a grand on a new set of wheels! Even if I could find someone interested in my polished ones. It is a real shame as this is exactly what I wanted in the first place, but had to settle for the polished look instead. These ones really are stunning (IMHO ;) ) and I'm now gutted that I've found some. I wonder if someone can do the same here in the UK? EDIT** Just worked out duty etc......... All in, duty inc = £1050!!!!
  18. £848 delivered, and I'd doubt you'd get away with import duty either!! ;) :duffer:
  19. Yeah, the one eye just doesn't do it for me!! ;)
  20. These are nice........ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300062057553&ssPageName=MERC_VI_RSCC_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT&refitem=300058724175&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=active_view_item&usedrule1=StoreCatToStoreCat&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget $501 shipping to the UK :D 7.5 Fronts and 8.5 rears
  21. Excellent news Daz! Pleased for you bud. Hope to see you before yoiu pop over there mate! Dave
  22. Is it me, or is Amy Wong horny?? ;) Hmmmmmmm, I think I've eaten too much!! ;)
  23. Yep! :D, I'd sugest getting a new one. I'ts not been your week for electrical stuff, has it? ;)
  24. Bloody HELL!! That was lucky then, well done bud, glad you got it sorted!! :D
