Thanks for getting back to me Rob. Shame you can't make it, but at least it's for a bloody good reason. ;) If this all proves popular (and to be quite frank, I very much doubt it considering the lack of response from certain quarters!! :rolleyes: ) I could do it again!

Yep, I'd agree here, looks like some sort of keyless (remote control) alarm controller. So, to sum-up..... I don't think you'll find a speaker amp, as not all Zeds were fitted with powered systems. Those speakers are exactly like the ones I removed, including that the cones have gone in the same place. Also they are the three hole fitment as well. And this is the best photo I can find of one, or rather not, as it only shows the loom side, and not very good at that. :(IIRC, there are three bulbs in the early spoiler mounted one. The connector is a light brown colour, with two thin male crimps inside, approx 10 x 10mm by 25mm long. I beleive I still have one of these kicking around at my dads place, if needbe I could nip round and get it out for you, to take pics etc?
