Can anyone tell me where the senser is for the boot closed light on the dash! When im driving the light flickers on and off and i can hear an anoying electric shorting noise coming from the boot! Please help before i decide to hack it with a screwdriver and hammer. Ps. Just had some oddball trying to tell me his Volvo (Volvic) T5 was a comparable force and looks to my ZX!!!! I mean lets be real for a second!

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone knows where i can get the bit of metal strip ontop of the engine that says" 3000 V6 TWIN CAM), only i took mine off to spray it and basically its knackered! I got tyrefly's on my zxr 400 - the look insane, however - never on the Nissan - I mean NEVER. You WILL look like Kevin from the Staines massive (who has just sold his nova and got a student loan for his 300zx - stolen not recovered)! If you know what i mean!!!!!!!!

There is litteraly about 2 centimetes of plastic pipe to grip onto! Not really enough, so ill check out mjp. Thanks for the help!

Ive put a couple of posts up for a 2nd hand rad! Do you know how much, roughly im looking at paying?

Ihave just disconnected the large rubber hose that goes to the top of the radiator (on the left of the rad). And it has snapped part of the plastic pipe off inside the rubber hose! Ive managed to get the plastic bit out of the rubber hose, but i need to know if i can bond the plastic pipe back on to he rad? Or is there a way of replacing the plastic pipe all together?! Failing that i will have to buy a new radiator, just for the sake of 2p worth of plastic!! Could somebody help me please, and recommend a good bonding/ or glue for the job

DAMN,DAMN,DAMN,DAMN I know that my car can't do 0-60 in 5 secs so it must hae been N/A. Next time i see the bloke i will ask him. He lives aout 5 mins from my house so isee him often . My gearbox doesnt make any whinning noises really,but compared to a norm zx box its very small (short). So maybe its a short throw or someting?! Thanks for your help, even if it has broken my heart! Its not all about speed - the ZX looks a million times better than the 300GT anyway!

Just watched the kennan and kell film "Good Burger" - ok i shoul be shot, but i was amazed that there is a 300zx in it that Kennan (could be kell - i dont know them tht well) is driving around in, till he smashes it up. Well worth 4.99 from WHSmiths!!

Ive only had the car 5 weeks, its a jap import but some guy in birmingham had it before me and sold it to the garage i got it from. When i got it, the geezer said " its got lightened flywheel" i have reciepts for that " and a cut box - which reduces weight" - i have no reciepts for that and personally i dont really know what it means. I presume it means its had all the extra bits that arent needed - cut off?!? Quite sure it was a TT that i pumped because on the rear quater panel it said Twin Turbo ! He was ahead of me until we hit 120mph then i caught him up and " blew him off"ooh eerr I havent had a look at the ECU, and i wouldnt really know th difference with what the stock ecu looked like or an uprated one!

I was just wondering if my car has been chipped, as ive just blown off a GTO Twin Turbo, and mine is non-turbo!!! Is there an easy way to check? Ive had some mods done, lightened flywheel, cut box etc but was just enquiring! Thanks for any help guys

My mate had a mitsubishi gto twin turbo auto, and he used to do that, until one day at the traffic lights when he blew the transmission and it cost a massive 1000 quid to fix. I really wouldnt bother if i were you!

I have a jap spec (but non turbo) and it makes no noticable difference to mine - which is handy because the nearest Shell garage is bloody miles away

Im gonna go with the autosol i think! I have a palmsander too, which i managed to do the frame on my bike with, and that looked mental. Thanks for all the help - i told my mate exactly what i thought of his suggestion today ( inserting a few choice words into the sentence) !! He thought it was a ten min job!! It appears as though a previous owner of my zx has had some sort of tv/ice install going on in the car. I can see loads of wires going under the rear seats and i wondered how do i get the seats out, or just lift them - so i can see wha is under there! I also wanted to see if the rear belts had been tucked away under them - not that they are any use!!!

I just took my car to a metal polishers about 8 miles away, for a quote on doing the entire top of the engine! There i was waiting for "200 quid mate" and the bloke turned to me and said "80 quid for that!!!!!!!" Well chuffed. However i have to take them off myself! Is it easy to remove the inlet manifolds? Do they come apart in 2 sections?? Does anyone know any other bits it might be worth me takimg off and polishing also? Thanks for any help - Mike
