  1. Yep, sorry didnt say that. Hopefully they will be going 1/4 mile next year, hence the need to support
  2. No i dont have it anymore - i sold it in PX for an R32GTR, and the new owner let it go to shite ! Always the way. Not much point in me registering on here tbh. But will say ive owned quite a few jap cars now, rx7,mr2 turbo, r32gtr, wrx, supra etc and this is the best owners club by a long shot :)
  3. At Smeatharpe, nr Dunkerswell. Everyone welcome, its a great day out - some ultra quick 800+ bhp Supra's, Evo's, the odd ZX etc there as always lots of bikes, americans, italians etc. £5 to get in, and everyone is welcome to join us, on the TuningHouse stand (bring your car over) for a BBQ later in the day. 1st race is at 11am, we will be meeting at McDonalds car park in Newton Abbot at about 8 am and leaving at 8.30am sharp (if anyone wants to convoy up with us). £20 you can run all day long (you can get loads of runs in too), just bring your helmet and licence. There are Trophies for pretty much everything, from best stand to fastest Jap/Vaux/ etc etc. Support your local drag racing, the more that go the more we can get next time - would be nice to have a Santa Pod in the true south. Anymore details, give me a PM, join tuninghouse, or just turn up on the day. I have a Atlantic blue Supra, orange wheels and carbon spoiler. So if you see it come say hello: Hope to see some of you there

  8. Anyone want to join us on our stand then ? Its a Smeatharpe near honiton, 1/8th mile strip for bikes and cars - lots of interesting jap and non jap stuff there. Your all welcome to join us on the http://www.tuninghouse.co.uk stand. Its 5 quid to get in, pay on the day £20 for unlimited runs, bring helmet, license etc. Anyway, havent seen a Zed there yet and its now starting to get very big. Register with the site here for free http://www.TuningHouse.co.uk and stick your name down. Its a good day with burger vans, crap music, and fast and loud cars/bikes of all types. We are doing a BBQ too so bring food, and drink Hope to see you there - Mike

  12. well unfoirtunatly, i only get my ass into gear and organized it last night. So not that many people i dont think. Ive put it on supra mk4 forum, and my own forum TuningHouse.co.uk - but everyone is welcome. Im hoping we get more than 2 haha Was planning to eat possibly after a drive to Dawlish, depending on what the people want to do. TBH i would come a long way, unless you bored. Next time ill plan it a week or so in advance, and we normally get a good turnout then. Its only late because its "supposed" to be 25 degrees tomorrow - and i only just found out:dance:
  13. Old smokey pub, by marldon. 11am saturday. Everyone welcome, expect bikes and other makes of cars. Drive to dawlish, for a beer on the seafront then out to exeter etc. Everyone is welcome Also planning our club stand at Smeatharpe drag day in may. Everyone is welcome to join our stand on that too. 14. Was nice to meet everyone briefly. Friendly group of people. Did make me wish i still had a Z though :wack: WHich one was you Legrath ? I owe you a couple of beers for the datascan stuff you sent me years ago lol
  15. Im coming to get some pics of you guys dont mind I dont have a Zed any more, but i still love them. I dont know what you are intending but be aware that Idford dip towords Torquay (Beyond telegraph) will have a major speed trap on sunday - as we often find out
  16. I shall be there - dont laugh at me in my non Z32 mr2 turbo. It will eat most of you for breakfast hehehe Ill bring my camera if you dont mind and get some snaps ;)
  17. does anyone frown on drifting ? Absolutely not mate - drifting is my major hobby ;)
  18. Just to let you all know (its been ages since ive been on here) that http://www.wasabiracers.co.uk have weekly meets in and around torquay and exeter. The club focuses on all jap performace metal, as long as your friendly and a decent individual - you are welcome along please visit us, and join up if you like (its all free) Hope to see some ZX's there soon ;) Mike
  19. Just wondering how you all were ? Saw some beasts of zx's on the way to coombe action day the other month Take it was some of you guys Hope you are all well Mike
  20. ok it must be just me then lol and all my mates who have them
  21. rx7 is not unreliable It just needs 3ks worth of work at 60ooo miles or there abouts. Then its good for another 60 lol
  22. tbh - next time ill be putting an rb26 TT, or JZ TT in a zed shell. It would never put me off owning a z mate - they are amazing cars
  23. ps - only stating my opinion, not having a go by the way mate
  24. jesus i was scared taking mine to bristol and back lol I see what your trying to say legrath - but why did my GTR, my subaru wrx, and my mr2 turbo - all of the same age etc - never get any of these problems ?? I silicone hosed every single pipe in the zed, race spec rad (better cooling by far) - i seriously did every thing i could to ensure it would not let go - and it did. 3 times in the end. Id say - not a car to be owned by anyone but an enthusiast Ive had two Zeds - both unreliable. And from the people i know with zeds - they all seems to say, as soon as you start tuning them, they will let go. Thats a general opinion - id say more are unreliable, than not.
  25. ps - when i do the cannonball run in 2008, it will not be in a bloody Z. Because it will probably break down on the boat over to the states. Having said that - they are still my all time fave car, no comparrison
