i was 23 when i got mine, but Flux took into account all the cars i have had previous. But 95% said i had to be over 25

I would stick a electric heater in there and leave it on for a good few hours to try and warm everything up a little. then a blanket like said above, Or even drain some water and get some anti freeze in there :)

Did you plug it into the ecu side of the loom, also are you sure you got the correct connector. iirc there are about 3 plugs in that area.
