  1. you tend to find that it will have either been resprayed or i found with mine especially the bumpers faded and turn more just yellow rather than pearl yellow but trust me the uk one is the same paint code and 3 stage pearl as the jap ones ;) Mike

Pick you plasmas carefully, to date i would go for an LCD over a 37" as i feel the plasmas have a better all round picture and dont believe everything you hear about screen burn and panel life, mines got an 80000 hour life so give or take a few years poss about 25 years watching it all day LOL and with the newer technology you dont get screen burn, dont get me wrong the first few years of plasma had terrible issues with screen burn and the screen life. If you going plasma go for a panasonic, ive had mine now for just over 2 years and apart from possible going to a 50" version i wouldnt change it for the world. As a few have said LCD is catching up to plasma with the larger screens but by the time they do theres new technology coming out which will make both look crap :) Try AV Forums for some ideas and the best deals Mike
  3. Pearl yellow was available but there was only about 30 or 40 car ever done and it was full 3 stage pearl glow ;) as someone pointed out i had one and they were all done in 1991 so H or J plates. I do have a pic of my paint code somewhere so will dig it out Mike

  8. Jesus how did you toast the rods etc??? i presume the oil pump failed? ECU wise it all depends on how its been mapped, as someone has said one side may have been getting enough fuel but by the time it feeds round to the other side it may not be getting enough fuel which could be the fuel pump or ecu etc Mike
  9. its difficult to say bud, why have you removed the engine etc anyway? there must have been a reason? and symptoms? with regards to the chip, the jwt is a very good chip but is it the right chip for 555's? do you deffo have 555's? Mike
  10. The car feels alot more predictable which it removed, i loved it and i felt it handled alot better with it removed ;)
  11. TBH i have had another look and apart from the carbon build up which is normal they look fine, are you losing and pressure through the pistons or rings? Detting can be caused by various things, bad fuel, bad mapping etc etc difficult to say. You say a "stock fmic"??? you have a front mount or not? or do you mean stock side mounts? if you have stock sidemounts then thats poss where your going wrong as your side mounts will not be good enough for bigger turbos running 15 psi Mike
  12. You will always get carbon build up on the pistons, are they pitted?? could have also been detting? Not sure what has caused pully to mark like that, was it a genuine nissan cam belt? poss tightened too much? Mike

  14. i dont think anyone on here thinks that, im a member of several clubs and enjoy posting on them all but what i dont do is go on moaning/slagging/backstabbing/and worse!! about the other clubs we all know whats gone on and i can think of at least a couple of things which were well out of order so you can understand why theres this wedge being created!! but it will blow over and the core of people will stay and the club will continue, just needs to get rid of the people who only come on here to moan and cause trouble!!   22. Eagle rods, OEM water pump and a toga oil uprated oil pump ;) More than enough for the job LOL Mike
  23. 20g's are about as big as your gonna get in the stock position but it makes it easier with them there, moving them turbos to the front will give you more rookm for bigger turbos but means your into getting alot of custom stuff done to the rest like rad, intercooler, PAS, Alt etc etc Do what i do explain its gonna cost you over 10 grand to put together a monster build or i can save money buying kirbz's setup ;) Mike
