in fact what we did was change a few of the connectors over and re-route the hicas pump connection back to the powersteering pump to make it a complete system :)

no not thought of that but good thinking ;)

well lock it up with the bar/kit or if you want to completly want to rid yourself of it all then you need to block up the power steering pump and power steering pot from the hicas and then just remove all the pumps (one at the front, one at the back) bring your car up and i can help you if you want bud ;)

i would check all the pipework make sure its all on and tight. could also be a wastegate stuck?? all worth checking before you start getting into big rebuild costs as if it was the engine you would be getting other signs ie white or blue smoke? Mike

does it smoke? does it over heat? poss a boost leak or an intercooler pipe off etc check all the pipes for leaks as well

speak to some of the traders and get an all in price to fit them

its your own preference, some people like the way it feels i dont!! to me it feels like the back end is loose when cornering so its why i removed it but if your having problems then yes you might as well go the whole hog and bin it, getgreddy sell the hicas bars Mike

yeh it is the det sensor, not sure what it will do there lol as it wont be measuring much?? tbh you might as well bypass it as its useless now anyway and with regards to the hicas just bin it, get a hicas bar, lock it out, sorted ;)

think projectM are a tuning garage in japan so prob a ecu they have chipped

which hicas bar have you got? fitted mine in about an hour and pretty easy and we removed all the pumps etc as well :) the kit should have come with some kind of system to re route the power steering fluid back to the front unless you completly get rid of it like me :) Mike

:confused: the kit your selling maybe for a 300zx but the picture you have advertising it is NOT!! i'm not having a go ryan just pointing out that if someone bought it and got the 300zx specific kit it doesnt not include manifolds, external wastegates, air filters!! need i go on?? just you know what some people are like they expect what they see in the picture so a simple disclaimer would sort that ;) Mike

the wastegate actuator is on the front of each turbo, can be done but is fiddly to get them on and tight. you can take a pressure point by T'ing into the balance bar pipe, one of the small ones on the left side of it :) HTH

well they should be very careful about the picture of the hks kit as thats not the kit you would get as the picture has external wastegates, sus manifolds etc etc looks like a skyline 2835 kit to me? really need to put in the ad that the picture may not represent what you get to cover themselves ;)

problem was with having a triple clutch there was 3 splines to get 100% lined up!! in the end we fitted the clutch, lined it up but left the clutch loose then fitted the box to line it up after each plate but turning the prop in the back and once it all lined up we carefully removed it nipped it back up, tried it again and hey presto :) Engine is in just connecting it all up now, so should be all conected up etc tomorrow or monday
