yes theres a black bracket on each side of the bumper which the inner linner bolts to but looks like you need a new one anyway by the looks of yours ;) i'm sure andyz etc will have one, mine went i'm affraid Mike
  3. Oh and forgot, i'm bloody freezing and wet!!!! so had to give up on today as its snowing like a goodun!?!? Stupid weather ;) Oh and 2-up there PE air filters which are blue :) getgreddy sells them So all i got done today was to finish off my hicas bar and rip all the pipework out from front to back On tomorrows list is take the front hubs off to install new longer hub bolts and spacers so while my dad does that i'm ripping the rear interior out and fitting the edfc. Mike
  4. Jaffa, had to use 55mm as i could not get any bigger past the steering pump etc but saying that the black oem pipework which its still running is only 50mm anyway so i dont suppose it matters too much but would have liked to have kept it at least 60mm all the way!? stupid cars with no room  i didnt remove the crossmember its still in place but you just need to un bolt it whilst removing the engine but if memory serves its only 4 bolts that holds it to the bodywork and the rest is on the suspension etc Mike
  5. there only bling cos there new, i bet there not so bling now
  6. Ferodo for me to, do a search on the skyline board and its a must for the big boys on there and i got told to use them from Rod Bell and Keith Cowie who runs them on his 1200 bhp skyline!!! enough said ;)
  7. its in the sale section bud :)
  8. lmao thats the exhaust housing bud and trust me there all like that ;)
  9. they have only made it like that because its easy to do, where like john said it would have been much better to make a Y shape but this involves alot more work and welding? TBH looks a bit cheap and nasty and would have though a decent single filter like an apexi etc would have flowed as much if not more? Sorry to put a downer on it ;)
  10. Getting there :) Got the twin induction and twin mafs in place and most of the turbo pipework so once my injectors get here early next week (fingers crossed) should be on track to put her back together next week Few more pics Mike
  11. spoke to jonny so me and jonny will be sending a cheque tomorrow ;)
  12. Sorry mate, chunk has already bought them
  13. Injector wise your gonna need a min of 555's or depending on what year your car is i would go for 740's, i have 555's on mine at the moment but fitting 850's next week :) Didnt know smithy sold the greddy turbo kits!?
  14. where did you get it from??and what kit is it? to be honest unless you are either a great mechanic or very good at removing zed engines i would pay someone to do it bud ;) Mike
  15. easy i bought a car with them on
  16. theres some pics on my site i have took while i have the engine out which should give you some idea http://www.kirbz-zed.co.uk/mike%203.htm
  17. depends on what power your after then match up the turbos ;)
  18. Garrett Steel Various ?? every car is different, 14-15psi is about the max for the injectors and tubs before there just blowing air
  19. Errrrrrrr just noticed its got a supra bonnet vent as well!!! if he wanted a supra why didnt he just buy one and not try and make a 300 look like one???
  20. Hmmmmmm nasty supra lights and the worse thing is they have been fitted in a way that you cant even get rid of them!? Apart from that looks a nice car
  21. all i would say is i went for the best one i could afford but the battery lasts about 1 hour!! so hardly mobile lmao
  22. Yeh its much better, i got rid of my desktop last year and went for a desktop replacement laptop with wireless, bluetooth etc etc and i also have a work laptop so all on a wireless network along with a print server so its great i just click print and i hear it printing upstairs in the spare room :) sweet Kirbz
  23. Some more pics on my site http://www.kirbz-zed.co.uk/mike%203.htm
  24. Dont worry bud now ive removed all the air con etc theres plenty of air getting to the rad and after all this the bloody turbos  The mounts in the pics are a little misleading as there not bolted right up but yeh they do make a difference and once we mod the arms and get the reducing silicon on they will pass no probs :) Made me laugh on the passenger side there was loads of room at the side of the turbo but the drivers side has had the inner wing pushed in slightly :wack: i think the hardest bit of taking the engine and box out was the wastegates as they hang down pretty low and wouldnt pass the crossmember so we had to remove it mid taking it out  All good fun Mike
  25. Well the problem was there was simply not enough air getting into the turbos, mainly because they were partly covered by the mounts and arms and the meshing is not ideal due to it getting dirty quick and you just cant clean them and where there at there is just no air flow so need some nice clean cold air to them :) so thats why we pulled it to put some nice custom pipework onto them and pipe them to some filters. Plus it means i wont have a heart attack when ever i hear stones flying around under the car lol Also removed the air con, removing all the hicas, putting 2 x AFM's onto Power Enterprise filters ready for my Apexi Power FC ECU, put my EDFC on and install my new fuel rail and injectors (when they come) and a few maintanance jobs while its out :) Mike
