I thought this thread was about jimmer, and his rebuilding this engine. is it always like this on here from a guy who has just joined, in 7 posts, ive struggled for help, been told i have to pay to get a phone number which now apears isnt on here anyway and been told to not ask for a number in a thread. not welcoming is it

Is there anyway to adjust the clutch pedal? the car has a receipt for a rps??? clutch, fitted about 2 years ago. but the pedal seems to have soft movement until half way through pressing it, when you can then feel the real resistance can the pedal be adjusted anyway so the bite is a bit higher, and that the pedal feels the same through all the travel of pressing?
  6. Does anyone have contact details for jimmer? Was just looking at the above, but think maybe ill speak to the guy who did this engine last. does anyone know if he does normal servicing and full fluid changes?

  8. ive just looked deep into this and its very easy, you can get it on e bay for £30 delivered, i would post the link, but dont know how sorry. type in 300zx speed convertor it is easily fitted with only 1 wire needed to be cut.

Been giving this more thought. if i simply remove the convertor i have now, that will send the clocks back to kph yes? which means i will be able to read my mph dials as true yes? only question, will this then put the limiter back on the car ? if so can i buy a simple delimiter? or do they all change the calibration too

  16. hi, the face i have now bought in white, has 180 mph plus a bit more yes. the old face i had, has 300kph the convertor i have now, changes that to read 300mph. but with the new face in place, it reads true on the kmg not the pph as the convertor still uses the kph points, but in miles
  17. ive changed the face no problem, the idea being i bought white dials instead of black. i did not give a thought to the speedo converto if i am honest untill i drove the car.
  18. yes, i have that now, but what it does is makes 40 kph now 40 mph, it doesnt actually change the readout so that the mph gauge can be read as accurate, with htat convertor, it still uses the kph readout, but you now use it as mph

Hello to you all. found this looking for an answer to a question on line i have a 300, jap import, with the speedo in km (300) the km has been changed to read in mph so 40kph is now 40mph i have now got a new face for my speedo which reads maxz 180 mph, trouble is, it now is only right if you read the kmp and use that as mph can i get a convertor that will change it to read in the true mph and not just make the kmp become mph thats makes no sense when i read it crap
